About APIIDA Mobile Authentication

APIIDA Mobile Authentication is an App for certificate based authentication at Windows clients (Win 7 – Win 10) via Bluetooth LE.

The app generates a local keypair in the app and requests a certificate from a CA CA (Certification Authority).
To login to the Windows client, the APIIDA Credential Provider and the APIIDA Bluetooth LE Servcice needs to be installed.

Features:
Generation of keypairs for X.509 digital certificate requests.
Keys are generated and stored securely (additional encryption) in the mobile device.
Certificate request by reading an QR-Code to connect to a SCEP enrollment server.
Authentication to Windows Clients which have APIIDA Mobile Authentication BLE Service and APIIDA Credential Provider installed.

Requirements:
APIIDA Mobile Authentication is supported on iOS Version 11 or newer.
Bluetooth LE Advertisement needs to be supported by the device.

Security:
AMA Mobile Authentication generates and stores the keys securely in the app (additional encryption is used).
To access the certificates on the app, the user needs to enter a 5-6 digit PIN, or use the Touch ID.

APIIDA Mobile Authentication is an enterprise / business application, which can only be used together with the APIIDA BLE Service and the APIIDA Credential Provider.
