Welcome to Clever Kids University: I Can Read, a powerful new bilingual app that teaches children to read and write in English with Spanish support. Good readers become successful learners for life! Memorable and Fun Phonics
Mega Mouth Decoder books and songs introduce fun and memorable characters designed to help students hear and pronounce the 44 sounds in the English language. Each character’s name, story, and personality emphasize the target sound in an unforgettable way.
Decodable Leveled Readers
Students immediately apply new phonics skills each week as they record themselves reading a book about Sam and his friends.
Balanced Literacy That Emphasizes Writing
Because young students need to write in order to learn to read, students make pictures and write about the books they are reading. They can even create, publish, and email their own variations of books.
STEM Reading and Writing
In addition to phonics, high-interest STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) books are presented each week to build background knowledge, comprehension, and vocabulary.
No Internet Required to Play!
After downloading the app and content, your child can use Clever Kids University without an Internet connection. Each time you connect to Wi-Fi, your child’s progress is uploaded so that you can continue on another device or review your child’s progress in reports. We are excited to announce that the app now allows you to play immediately without requiring you to download books and games. Offline play is still fully supported. Simply download the books and games you need and then play offline as long as you like. The next time you connect to Wi-Fi, your reports and progress will be sent to your teacher.
