About Darkness Hunt

Explore darkened rooms to find what you’re looking for. The navigator is a strange mushroom-shaped creature?!
“Darkness Hunt” is an interactive digital picture book that lets you enjoy rummaging in the darkness.
Once you’ve enjoyed finding things in darkened rooms, you’ll not fear darkness anymore! You will wander around a large house for Mi, who’s sobbing about her lost treasures.
You might encounter strange creatures when the rooms go dark.
The goal of the story is to find all the lost items as you switch off the lights one by one. Let’s go on an exploration with “Darkness Hunt” that lets you feel comfortable with darkness!

This children's app were produced in a class titled "Project & Collaboration Seminar", held for students of the Department of Cross-Disciplinary Art and Design (Field of Media Art and Design) at Joshibi University of Art and Design in Tokyo, Japan. The students were entirely responsible for the planning, storywriting, illustration, animation and authoring of their apps over a six-week period. Children were invited to try out the finished programs, after which successive modifications were made.
