Even if your iPhone or iPad has auto-dimm function, the Desk Clock Display app will always stay ON. Quickly change Brightness to max or min if needed.

Use it as a standby desk clock during the day or at night.

Set any Countdown timers up to 24 hours.

Improve your time management using Pomodoro Technique: 25 minutes of concentration, 5 or 10 minutes to take a rest.
