About Doubles: Pick, Chat, Win!

MAKE PICKS

Follow the leagues and teams that you and your friends love to discuss. On game day, simple prediction cards will automatically be served to your group, allowing you to make picks about the outcomes of the event.

CHAT

Message your friends about the picks you made, share articles or videos you came across or react to something you saw, while staying in close contact with the people who make experiences that much better.

COMPARE RESULTS

See how your picks are doing in real-time as the action unfolds and try to top your group. The Leaderboard lets you see how you’re stacking up against your friends as the week unfolds.

How to Play:
Swipe cards up or down to make (or change) picks. Picks are locked when events start.

Scoring:
+2 For each winning pick
+1 For each tie
------------------------------------
x2 DOUBLE your score for any event when you pick 3 or more without a loss
------------------------------------
Leaderboard is reset weekly

We've created a new share extension to make it even easier to share articles with your Doubles groups from other apps! After you've found an interesting article and tapped share, just look for Doubles after tapping "More" in the iOS share sheet. From there, it's as simple as adding a comment and tapping share! This release changes the initial set of GIFs which are displayed when the GIF drawer is opened - we’re now automatically showing GIFs which are related to your group’s interests. We've also added new swipe gestures for navigating between tabs in the "Group Settings" menu and we’ve made major changes to way the app will render chat content. Shared content should load much more smoothly, and the Instagram video experience has been improved. Enjoy!

We now have curation! What this means is that users can choose their favorites teams (up to 3, for now) and receive Picks for the games those teams play (along with continuing to have the option of league highlights). We're hoping this creates a more customized experience on Doubles for you and your friends!
