The CRASHLIGHT crash detection alert system has updated auditory (sound) and haptic (vibration) signals, to enhance the user experience. And we improved the background crash notifications when your app is recording in the background.

Ring-a-ding-ding! Now, when ESR is running in the background on your Apple device, and a crash is detected, a ringing alarm sound will play over any app you’re using. This means CRASHLIGHT detected a crash, and, in the event of a false alarm, gives you time to cancel notifications to your contacts.

Just in time for fall riding we fixed bugs and made ESR faster to use! We also added CRASHLIGHT system notifications so when your ESR app is in the background, you’ll still see alerts on your home screen.

This is a patch release that fixes a bug preventing some riders from adding a phone number to CRASHLIGHT contacts! We also fixed a Group Ride bug that caused some groups to not display all members. Thanks everyone!

A new release is ready! A few big changes in this release to be aware of: CRASHLIGHT is moved to the bottom navigation bar for easier accessibility. Emergency contacts now require you add your country code (+1), with area code and phone number so that telcos can deliver crash notifications across the US and worldwide. And, the Group Ride feature is moved from the bottom nav to the map screen. Ride your own way.
