About Gardens of Lake Como
A guide to discover the wonderful botanical gardens and parks - open to the public - located in the provinces of Como and Lecco.

That is how Stendhal, back in 1817, expressed the emotions he felt on his return from a visit to the Villa Melzi gardens in Bellagio.
The Department of Tourism for the Province of Como, in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Como and Grandi Giardini Italiani (Great Gardens of Italy) network, is hoping that all those who visit these wonderful masterpieces of the art of landscaping overlooking Lake Como, whether garden enthusiasts or simply tourists, will feel the same wonder and enchantment.
