About Gentlestudent

Gentlestudent biedt informele leerkansen aan en herkent verworven skills door gebruik te maken van Open Badges.

Gentlestudent zet in op betekenisvol en diepgaand leren en doet dat in voortdurende dialoog met de studenten en de initiatieven in de stad zelf. Met Gentlestudent stelt Arteveldehogeschool een platform en app ter beschikking waarop de buurt en studenten elkaar vinden.

Gentlestudent stelt een applicatie en webplatform ter beschikking die studenten stimuleert om informeel te leren via een aanbod van leerkansen in authentieke settings. Deze leerkansen kunnen gevonden worden aan de hand van beacons die op bepaalde locaties in Gent beschikbaar zijn. Bij het succesvol voltooien van deze leerkansen kunnen studenten hun verworven skills zichtbaar maken via de Open Badges die door het platform worden uitgereikt.
