A 'Share' function is added. Users can pick a piece of information at the 'Press Release' and 'Clarification/Response to Media Enquiry or Report' and then share it by tapping the 'Share' icon at the upper right corner.

Dynamic banners and icons are added on the newly designed index page that make the application more user-friendly

Dynamic banners at the top of the application provides the latest police activities, events and key messages, including: Hong Kong Police YouTube, Wanted / Missing Persons, Crime Statistics and Crime Prevention Advice

The six icons at the bottom of the application shows other police information, including Press Releases, Clarification / Response to Media Enquiries or Reports, Notification of Public Meeting / Public Procession, Traffic Matters, Recruitment and Contact Us

Adding ‘Sliding menu’ that will automatically pop up when tapping the menu icon in the upper left corner to get relevant information more easily

New features added:

- Wanted / Missing Persons – all information are synchronized with the Police Public Page that can get the public attention through the Police appeal

- Crime statistics – Wounding & Serious Assault, All Robberies, All Burglaries, Serious Drug Offenses, Snatching, Pickpocketing, Taking Conveyance Without Authority, Street Deception, Rape and Indecent Assault

- Crime Prevention Advice - providing six kinds of crime prevention messages and prompts

- Traffic Matters - including Road Safety Events and Tips, What to Do After Traffic Accident and the Regional Traffic Reporting Centre Contact Information, etc.

The feature of Notification of Public Meeting / Public Procession is enhanced that merging with the calendar format to show all the relevant information all along within the application

程式頂部的動態橫額，提供警隊最新活動、項目及主要消息，包括：香港警隊YouTube、通緝／失蹤人士、罪案統計及防止罪案建議

底部的6個圖標清晰地展示其他警隊資訊項目，包括新聞公報、澄清／回應傳媒查詢或報道、公眾集會／遊行通知、交通事項、警察招募及聯絡我們

加設「滑動選單」，用戶只要輕按程式左上角的「滑動選單」鍵，功能便會自動彈出，能更快捷瀏覽相關資訊

用戶下載並首次開啟2.0版時，使用小貼士視窗會自動出現，提示如何使用滑動選單

加入以下新功能：

－ 通緝／失蹤人士 – 有關信息與警察公共網頁內的資料同步更新，更有效透過警察呼籲，引起公眾注意

－ 罪案統計 – 案件類別包括：傷人及嚴重毆打、行劫、爆竊、嚴重毒品罪行、搶掠、扒竊、擅自取去交通工具、街頭行騙、強姦及非禮

－ 防止罪案建議 – 提供6種防罪訊息及提示

－ 交通事項 – 包括道路安全活動及小貼士、交通意外後應做什麼及總區交通報案中心的聯絡資訊等

2.0版本的「公眾集會／公眾遊行通知」會以內置行事曆的方式顯示有關內容，不須再離開程式連結至警隊公共網頁，為用戶提供更佳的瀏覽效果

Categorising "Press Release" into five types including Crime, Traffic, Missing Persons, Public Events and Others. User can browse on the interested press release more easily.

Adding ‘Clarification / Response to Media Enquiry or Report’ which allows users to understand the Hong Kong Police’s official stance on the issues as covered by the media.
