About Japanese Tiles
Learn Japanese numbers in Kanji, Hiragana and English. This app is an interactive game that teaches you to speak and recognize the number symbols of Japanese.
As you study these 7 games, you will be progressively challenged to harder and more thought provoking exercises that will solidify your ability to speak, translate, and understand the language of Japanese Numbers.
Levels 1 through 3 train you how to read the numerals, and Levels 4 through 7 are challenges based on random sequences, which get progressively more difficult. As the levels get more advanced, you are challenged to recognize the numbers and discern them from their sound, until your ability to recognize the characters and their sounds is mastered.
As a second Language, Japanese is rewarding and exciting, and it is important to recognize the characters in the language. This app isn’t just another dictionary, or phrase book. This product is just the beginning of a series of intuitive and current courses that will entertain you, while providing you the fundamentals of the language, grammar skills, vocabulary, and translation skills.
Native Japanese Speakers Toshi Nakayama and Yuno Imai provide the voices for the numeric sequences.
Level 1 gets you used to the standard numeric keypad. The challenges are sequential as you begin to learn to string number sequences together.
Level 2 teaches you to recognize 4 sequential numbers in different combinations.
Level 3 introduces you to recognizing the numbers out of sequence using association with a random six-tile display.
Level 4 brings you back to sequences and makes it a bit harder with an eight-tile display.
Level 5 is straight consecutive challenges where you have to remember up to ten digits in a row.
Level 6 contains five digit sequences to solve in eight tiles
Level 7 is a memory test where you can practice a twenty-digit sequence in a row.
