About Kazbegi Experience
“Kazbegi Experience” is a 2-level brand that brings together local businesses of the Kazbegi region.
The brand was created by the Czech non-governmental organization “People in Need” (PIN) and Kazbegi “Local Action Group” (LAG), funded by the European Union project - ENPARD (European Neighborhood Program for Agriculture and Rural Development).
Mission
To create the first regional brand in Georgia and be a commercially sustainable project that will help visitors easily find high quality services.
Vision
Bring businesses that meet high quality requirements into the brand and foster a cooperative spirit within the community.
We decided to establish this local brand for three main goals:
Foster tourism development in the Municipality - The first goal is to increase awareness about the municipality and attract more tourists to Kazbegi, which, in turn, will increase local business activity, generate more income for the population, and boost the development of new services in Kazbegi.
Kazbegi brand as a guarantee of quality - The second goal serves the purpose of using the brand as a guarantee of quality. The right of its use will be given only to businesses and services that meet the standards set and approved by Kazbegi LAG. This will help tourists select the service or product based on how well they meet the quality requirements.
Improve the quality of local products - The third goal is interrelated with the second one and aims at improving the quality of the products produced in Kazbegi. If tourists will increasingly use services and products that have been awarded the "Kazbegi Experience quality guarantee", this should motivate other local businesses to achieve the quality of production or service that meets the standards set by the Kazbegi Local Action Group (LAG).
In our Brand we have 3 main directions:
Kazbegi Adventure is a sub-brand of Kazbegi Experience which includes accommodation, tours, taxi services, hiking routes, horse-back riding, and other adventurous activities.
Kazbegi Heritage is a sub-brand of Kazbegi Experience which includes local historical landmarks, monuments, and other “must-see” locations.
Kazbegi Mokheuri is a sub-brand of Kazbegi Experience that celebrates local produced treasures. “Mokheuri” in Georgian means “made in Kazbegi”, which is why our sub-brand includes local products such as souvenirs, local dishes and beverages, handmade accessories, and more.
