Payments that are currently in process now appear in your payment history, and will shows as deducted from your total account balance. New customers can now enable outage and billing alerts directly from our app.

This release includes the ability to provide notification for planned application maintenance/outages and a fix for viewing Energy Usage information.

In this release we improved messaging for events when payment processing can’t be completed or takes longer than expected. We also provided a clarification that all payments are processed based on Eastern Time (ET) zone.

Some users are experiencing an intermittent login problem that has been difficult to diagnose. This app version will send additional information back to us to help determine why this might be happening. We are working to resolve the issue and welcome feedback sent to appsupport@aep.com.

In this release we've changed the payment account selection process to not use the first available payment account when you don’t have a default payment account. If you don’t have a default payment account, we will not select one for you from your list of payment accounts. In this release we've made enhancements to our payment processing system that ensures your payment making experience is smooth and reliable. We also changed the way new account registrations are created by embedding in app web views to keep your information safe and secure.

This release includes enhancements to our payment processing platform. It includes the ability for those that are not enrolled in paperless billing to schedule immediate and future dated ACH or credit/debit card payments within our app. Payment processing fees may apply to each transaction.
Due to the enhancement of our payment processing platform, an update to the newest version of our app is required. Users who choose not to update to the current version will not have access to payment processing. We suggest allowing automatic updates for our app to ensure you are always experiencing the newest version of our app.

This release includes improvements to our payment processing capabilities which include making it possible for customer who are not on paperless billing to make payments from their bank accounts or by credit card. Payments can now be scheduled any day of the week, including holidays.

•Kentucky Power is working to keep the power flowing and looking for ways to better serve our customers during these uncertain times. Through June 30, 2020, customers can use a debit or credit card to pay your bill with no added processing fees.
The suspension of these fees provides customers with more options to keep their account up-to-date during the COVID-19 pandemic. If you need to make payment arrangements, please call our customer service line at 1-800-572-1113.
