About Nara Asukakyo Historic Walk
“Nara Asukakyo Historic Walk –the Time Trip to the Asuka Period”
This app guides you to the historic site of Asuka where the first capital of Japan was established 1400 years ago. You can walk with this app in Asuka Village located in Nara Japan and see your location in the ancient map of Asuka Period. There are audio guide which explain the historical background of the ancient capital in English, Chinese, and Korean.
Where am I in the Asukakyo?
You can find out. Please compare and contrast the maps of ancient Asuka capital from 1400 years ago with the current illustrated map of Asuka Village. Once you are in Asuka Village, your location shows up on the historic map with the GPS function.
The storytellers of the audio guide are the historical figures from the Asuka Period. On the recommended walk route which appears on the maps contain many historic stories. The storytellers will guide you through in multi-language.
