About Nofanity
Nofanity is the world’s first music player that actively removes swear words from explicit songs in your playlist. Nofanity hooks directly into your favorite music service to remove profanity so that you and your family will not have to be exposed to objectionable language and can have a better listening experience.
We accomplish this through a process we call CurseSearch, which utilizes state-of-the-art speech recognition technologies to search songs for profanity and continually update our database.
Features:
• Works on Any Song - Nofanity works on all genres of music and even on languages other than English, including rap and hip hop, pop, and Latin music (provided that the swear words are in English)!
• Built for Apple Music and Spotify - Nofanity works with both Spotify and Apple Music, so you can listen to clean music regardless of your platform.
• Full-Fledged Music Player - Nofanity serves as a fully functioning music player, allowing you to play songs and control playback from directly within the app.
• We Care About the Little Details - Nofanity even works on songs that don’t have the EXPLICIT label, and allows you to remove words that might be considered offensive to those who are religious.
• Different Bleep Modes - You can choose to have Nofanity mute the parts of the song where the swear word occurs or have it skip over the word entirely, so you can listen to your music with as little interruption as possible!
• Contribute to our Community! - Although we achieve 90% accuracy in our results, we realize this isn’t good enough. With Nofanity, you can notify our team about songs that don’t work through our Flagging System. In addition, you can even remove swear words we might have missed from directly within the app!
