「沈睡的石頭」述説一隻小貓頭鷹如何鞭策自己，企圖完成一項不可思議的使命。

哈佛得獎作家Kaitlin Solimine的靈感來自中國神話女媧補天，美妙地編織出一段「盡人事，聽天命」的冒險故事。台灣插畫家胡瑜與巴西打擊樂器家Valtinho Anastacio也呼應了故事中隱含的環保意識，利用隨手拾到的材料製作成拼貼畫及樂器，合奏了一場視覺及聽覺的饗宴。

美國文學大獎Purple Dragonfly Award獲獎作品。
