About Spectator NOW
The speed test for video streaming! Measure your network connection’s adaptive bitrate (ABR) streaming performance and video quality in real time.
Using your provided video URL, Spectator NOW identifies the available source bit rates (the rendition set), and graphically illustrates the current and average playback bit rate and rate shifts during the playback session. Patented VeriStream measurement and scoring technology delivers easily understood results. Spectator NOW also measures the streaming capacity of the connection, illustrating the connection’s ability to support quality beyond what your device supports (e.g. 4K/UHD or HD 1080p for a smart TV, Roku, AppleTV etc.).
· Supports testing over any connection: Wifi, Mobile 4G/LTE, 3G
· Visualize rate switches and HTTP errors
· Compare connection streaming capacity to utilization
· Check your connection’s ability to stream 4K/UHD or HD content
· Sample video URLs provided for quick start testing
· URL entry to test your own video streams
