It calculates the 10-year primary risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease among patients without established cardiovascular disease who are between 40 and 79 years of age. Estimation of 10-year risk for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease are based on data from multiple community-based populations and are applicable to African-American and non-Hispanic white men and women 40 through 79 years of age.
TG-tor ASCVD risk calculator provides easy access to recommendations specific to the risk estimates produced by the calculator.
