There are now three pin colors - blue (reference stations), red (subordinate stations), and the new green color which indicates a reference station with water temp instrumentation. Green pins will display water temp on the detail view for that station. Out of the roughly 3,200 tide stations NOAA provides around 245 with water temperature instrumentation. These are distributed throughout the US and other territories.
