New Features

1. Simple Sign-on: Login once per day. We have made substantial changes to how our login and session-handling works. The goal is for users only have go through the initial login process once.

2. Easy Device/Location swapping: Along with the login changes, we have made it even easier to switch between Device/Location from within the application.

3. Device/Location take-over: We understand that there has been frustration with license management and to help alleviate this stress, we are making it possible to take over an in-use license.

4. Global Payments only: Tap-pay functionality. We are introducing NFC (or Tap-pay) capability to the TabletPOS system, making it possible to accept Google/Apple wallets, as well as, NFC-capable credit cards.

For this feature a new Chip Reader is needed: BBPOS Chipper 2X (C2X). If you would like begin using this new reader, please reach out to Global Payments.

Opening and Closing Procedures

Crunching the numbers doesn't have to be complicated. We've added a permission-based Opening and Closing procedure so you and your staff keep track of your daily cash influx in each cash drawer.

At the end of the day, you can generate a concise report that summarizes the activity in your tasting room. This report is easily printed, emailed, or reviewed in either admin panel.

Event Category

Working at remote events is now simpler for you and your cashiers. You can streamline your selection and lock down an item list that is easily accessible on your Tablet POS. Your cashiers can find products faster and work smarter with a preset list of products.

Product Color Palettes

TPOS managers can now customize the color for product buttons based on the product type, allowing product types to be conveniently organized and distinguishable.

We also fixed a few things:
- Opening a member' details would sometimes present the user with an access error.
- The auto-logout timer now counts down from the time of your last interaction with the app instead of from your login time.
- Scrolling through the applied discounts of a sale now works!
- Emails used on a sale will not display on the order summary record.

New Features:
* Our new sticky filters allow you to keep filters between sales and user sessions. A new button was added to the filter bar to store saved filters or reset them after each sale and session. The system default is set to remove filters between sales and sessions.
* You can print multiple receipts from an AirPrint printer, which was previously only available for Star Printers.
* The product display limit has been increased from 200 products to 500 products.


Fixes:
* Putting the app to sleep will correctly update the tablet's status in vinSUITE.
* Closing the app will return its license to the pool of available devices in vinSUITE.
* We fixed the app crash when selecting an Air Print printer.

Version 1.3.1 fixed a critical bug. Version 1.3.0 contains these changes:

In the Member Details, the window no longer takes up the entire screen. The new page acts like a regular web browser for ease of use.

Fixes:

In the Product list, we've made the text stand out for third-party wines buttons by switching to black font on a yellow background.

Customers who tip can return to the tip menu screen after the transaction, instead of the order screen.

You can now scroll down the Categories filter page when entries extend below the bottom of the screen.

Multiple iPads can print to the same Star Printer to save you time.

Pushed the Printer Status button one too many times? It no longer causes the App to crash.

The printer setup modal is now more responsive for your convenience.

The list of discovered Star Printers is larger and more readable.

The Star Printer is now automatically saved, without needing to press the “Save” button, saving the user an unnecessary step.

A “Clear Settings” button was added to reset the stored printer data.
