About Umpire Live
Umpire Live adds the power of the internet to the umpire's "clicker". In addition to balls, strikes and outs, Umpire Live keeps the game score, provides a game clock, tracks inning runs and shows which team is batting.
Through the live score feature, the umpire can choose to broadcast count changes, score changes or report only the game results. Fields equipped with web page display equipment can then display the game status to the audience, or the audience can follow along via their own web devices.

View scores now pushes scores to the user instead of periodically polling for them, so score updates are nearly instantaneous. Users are now able to monitor up to 10 games simultaneously.

Version 2.1 lets the umpire position base runners if desired, and adds more graphics. Ipad screens have been added for spectators. Spectators can now see the game clock and runners on the base paths.

Greatly simplified the LiveScore feature so that the umpire does not have to do anything to broadcast the game data. Also added the ability for spectators to view scores from within the app. Up to five games can be monitored simultaneously.
Spectators are presented with a list of games based on their current location, so please allow the app to use location information.
