FIXED - You know that annoying line that would get drawn sometimes from the end of the old walk to the beginning of a new walk? It wouldn’t save it but it was annoying… that is finally gone!

HOPEFULLY FIXED - Sometimes the app would get stuck on the loading screen at the end of the walk, this might finally be fixed, as long as you have some internet connection.

ADDED - When taking a photo outside of the app and immediately trying to upload it, it would often appear to do nothing, now it shows that it is loading.

ADDED - More image error handling. If a photo doesn’t upload it should tell you why.

ADDED - Added due date offset. You can now set how many days from an invoice’s creation date you want the due date to be. To do this open settings > invoices > and change the due date offset at the top of the screen.

REMOVED - Removed the “No internet” message as it would often get stuck.

IMPROVED - The Invoices summary view, access via the chart icon in the top left of invoices, is now easier to make sense of.

ADDED - Added more accurate app badge that shows the total number of unread conversations and requests, instead of just the total number of unread messages from your current conversation or just a 1 for everything else.

ADDED - View the activity you started from an appointment! If you started a walk from an appointment’s “Start” button, now all you need to do is tap that appointment’s “View” button to view it. This is great when you like to do everything from the appointments tab and it’s great for when you want to look back at an activity you did for an appointment.

ADDED - Mileage tracking. You can choose to track your mileage when you set off to an appointment. The mileage will stop tracking when you start the appointment. All of your mileage can be viewed in settings and you can choose a start and and end date to see how far you travelled between those two dates. This is great way to keep track of your mileage for your tax return. You'll also be able to see live tracking info in the Activities tab and as a Live Activity on your iPhone's Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.
ADDED - A much nicer UI for appointment and activity cards that makes the information easier to read.
FIXED - Multiple walk screens could pop up when tapping the Dynamic Island or Live Activity which would leave on screen blank. This shouldn't happen anymore.

We've added Lock Screen widgets. You can add three different types of Lock Screen widgets.
Above the time: This widget shows what the primary service of your next appointment is.
Under the time - Small: This widget has the Walkies logo and acts as a quick link into the Walkies app from your Lock Screen.
Under the time - Large: This widget shows you the time, primary service, and pets of your next appointment.

iOS16 doesn’t yet support live widgets on the Lock Screen, but when it does we’ll be updating Walkies to show you information whilst you’re on a walk or drop in.

Here are some of the features that were requested at the Walkies Pack Rally.

**Add duration to your services**
You can now add a duration to each of your services. Adding a duration to a service makes creating an appointment easier as when you add a main service and additional services to an appointment the app will automatically set the end time based on the total duration of all of the services.

**Past appointments list**
You can now view all of a customer's past appointments by going to their details and tapping "Appointments".

**Bug fixes**
We've fixed a bug that caused service prices to be saved incorrectly when updating or adding a new service. Adding a service should work as you expect now!
We've fixed the incorrect icons that would display on the requests tab of the schedule.
We've fixed a bug that would make the app say "1 more services", now it says "1 more service" as it should.

A big update this week!

***Appointments***
Add multiple services to your appointments with travel and discount costs! This is the lastest step in getting the app ready for auto invoicing. Soon you'll be able to start an appointment and the app can create an invoice for you, making invoicing that bit easier! This will be an option when creating an appointment, so you can choose when the app should create an invoice for you on an appointment by appointment basis.

***Customer details***
You can now access a specific customer's appointments and invoices by going to their details and tapping the new "Appointments" and "Invoices" options. If you book an appointment from a customer's appointments list it will only show you their pets. When creating an invoice from a customer's invoices list it will skip the "Select customer" screen and assume that you are making an invoice for that customer.

***Private Services***
You can make your services private. Making a service private means it won't be able to be seen by your customers when sending you an appointment request via the customer app or viewing your online Walkies company profile. This is useful if you have services that are only for specific customers.

***Bug fixes***
Fixed a bug that would set a service's cost to 0 when updating it.
Fixed a bug where you could start walks, drop-ins, and pet sittings from the schedule with no pets. This could have caused your app to crash, if you're experiencing any crashes when you open the "Pet sitting" tab then please let us know and we'll get it fixed for you.
Fixed a bug where a services total cost wasn't displayed on our website when there was more than one of the same service on an invoice.

**A big schedule update**
Your schedule is no longer limited to just walks, drop-ins, and pet sittings. You can now schedule any of your services! This is a huge update because we hope that it will make your life a lot easier in regards to organising your schedule when someone books a specific service, but it also means that in the future we can add things like automatic invoice creation because we know exactly what service is happening and how much it costs, so we hope to add that very soon! We also want to make it so that you can tap a pet sitting event on the schedule and start it directly from there just like you can with walks and drop-ins, so stay tuned!

We've also updated the app your customers use so that they can see all of your services and book them themselves.

*Sharing update*
You can now share walk and drop-in photos, videos, and information via any compatible app on your iPhone and iPad via the share buttons.

*Bug fix*
We fixed a bug that would remove customer pictures when updating a customers details.

*Selecting a pet is now easier*
You can now search for pets by their name or their owner's name. You can also filter whilst you search to only show dogs or cats etc. Finally, we've added something really cool - You can now sort by location. If you've added an address for your customer then you can see their dogs at the top of the list when you're at their house.

*Company profile*
Your online company profile will now default to hidden. You can unhide it in "Profile" in settings.

*Fixes*
We've also fixed up a couple other areas of the app.

**Itemised invoicing**
From now on when creating an invoice you need to select your services. The app will add up your invoice total for you and your customers can see a full breakdown of what they're paying for via our website or in the Journal app. You're now also shown a summary before you send your invoice.

**Better team support**
We've taken away a few features from team members that are not admins.

Team members who aren't admins will not be able to view:
• Invoices
• Customers
• Messages
• Appointment requests
• Appointments that are not their own

Team members who aren't admins will not receive:
• Push notifications for invoices

Team members who aren't admins will not be able to:
• Delete walks

**Crucial crash fix**
We've fixed a crash that would occur when you tapped a video or photo during a walk or drop-in. We accidentally introduced that in the last version, sorry!

**Your very own webpage**
This version of Walkies introduces company profiles and a Walkies web page that you can share around the web like it's your very own website.

You can now add your company's:
• Description
• Location
• Profile picture
• Cover picture
• Brand colour
• Services
• Contact details
• Qualifications
• Photos & videos
• And more

They will all be viewable online for your current and new customers to see. We don't want you to have to pay more to have a page on the web so all of this is included for free with Walkies, even if you aren't a subscriber.

This is just the start, in the future we'll make it so that new customers can see your profile online and then download the app and book you in a very smooth and easy way.

We're also going to integrate the services you add into creating an invoice so that you can create itemised invoices.

**Fixes*
We've fixed the last bug with team and customer connect links, we think... it should be better than ever now.
2.6.0 2020-03-06
**REQUIRED UPDATE**
This update fixes "add team member" links and "connect customer" links. You need to update if you want them to work again.

**Schedule updates**
1. Changed the default timeframe from 30 minutes to 1 hour when adding an appointment
2. When you update an appointment the app will now automatically keep the timeframe the same. So for example if you previously set the appointment for 9am for 2 hours when you change the start time to 12pm the app will automatically set the end time to 2pm.

**Pet Sitting**
1. Added a "Photo and note" update option to pet sitting
2. You can now add multiple photos at once... go wild
3. Fixed the select from library option when accessed from the pet sitting list

**Settings updates**
1. We've made it so that only the team admin can view and update invoice and payment link settings

**Crash and bug fixes**

Sometimes poop happens... and you need to remove it. The same goes for pee...

You can now subtract poops and pees if you have accidentally added them on during a walk or drop-in or from the walk or drop-in's details.

*Pet sitting*
We've made it say the name of the pet that peed, pooped, had a treat, or had their medication etc when in a group. This is how it was supposed to work to start with!



*Crash & bug fixes*
We've fixed a crash that could occur when trying to share a payment link from the "Invoice sent" screen.
Fixed a bug where the loading view didn't disappear after finishing a resumed walk.
Fixed a bug where the walk or drop-in didn't reload after updating notes

**Update a walk or drop-in after you've ended it**

With this update you can do quite a few things to a walk or drop-in after you've ended it:
• Add photos
• Add videos
• Delete photos
• Delete videos
• Add poops
• Add pees

And if you didn't already know you can already edit a walk or drop-in's notes and treat, medication, and food tick boxes after you've ended it.
We've made the edit button more obvious by moving it out of the more button in the top right to it's own big button at the top of the screen.

This feature is great if you've accidentally forgotten to upload a picture or video you took during a walk or drop-in. Or if you perhaps didn't have great signal during a walk or drop-in as you can upload your photos and videos once you have good signal or WiFi.

**Multiple pets per daycare/boarding**
You can now add more than one pet to a daycare or boarding and your customers will no longer receive a notification per pet, instead they will receive just the one.

**Made pet sitting one list**
You can now see all of your daycare and boarding pets in one list that is separated into sections. This means it's easier to use and you can also do group updates for daycare and boarding pets all at once.

**Video limit increased!**
You can now upload 2-6 videos depending on your subscription per day instead of per daycare/boarding. So if you have a pet staying for a week the owner is going to get an incredible report.

**Video updates from the pet sitting view**
You don't have to tap into a daycare/boarding's details to add a video, you can now do it from the pet sitting view.

**Journal connection push notifications**
You'll get a push notification when a customer connects or disconnects their Journal

**MESSAGING**
You can now instant message any of your customers in app as long as they have the Journal app. You'll receive push notifications for new messages as you'd expect. Messaging can be found on the customers tab.

**SCHEDULE UPDATES**
You can now tap the timeline to add an event at the time tapped. We’ve also fixed a bug on the new event screen that would incorrectly say that two events that are right next to each other overlap. Finally, we've made the decline button on the schedule view actually decline the event.

**INVOICE UPDATES**
Once an invoice has been marked as paid or paid via a Walkies payment link your customers can now receive text and push notification confirmation messages. You'll now receive push notifications instead of emails when a customer pays an invoice if you have enabled push notifications

**YOUR TIME**
So quite a few people have complained about the time always being set to 24 hour time (Military time). The app should now default to your preference.

**REPORT CARD FIXES**
Sometimes when you shared a report card the map hadn't loaded yet, hopefully it should be now. We've also fixed a crash that could occur when sharing a report card.

**CRASH FIXES**
We've fixed a crash that could occur when joining a company without an email address saved and hopeful a couple others that happen here and there.

**Appointment requests**
In a couple of days your existing customers will be able to send you appointment invites via the Customer Journal app and then you can update, accept, and declined them via the new "Requests" section on the Schedule tab. We've also added a little message to the add event view that will let you know if the event you're adding overlaps with an existing event.

**IMPORTANT - Only future or updated appointments from now on will show up in your customer's app.**

Make sure to enable push notifications so that we can let you know when you have received a new request.

**Daycare and boarding videos**
You can now shoot videos and select videos from your library for daycare and boarding just like you can do for walks and check ins.

**Report cards**
When you share a walk or check in you'll now be given the option to share a link to it or a report card. Report cards have all of the important information about a walk or check in on them and a map. They are great when you want to share a snapshot of your walk or check in to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, and even to those customers that would prefer a quick picture in a text to a page on a website.

**Add notes as you walk or check in**
You can now add general notes and notes for each pet as you walk or check in by simply tapping the new "Notes" button. They will be saved and will only show up for your clients once you end the walk or check in.

**Separate reports for each customer**
Up until now, when you started a walk all of the customers of the dogs on that walk would receive a group report with shared general notes and shared pictures and videos.

NOW you can start a walk and turn the “Separate reports” switch on and this will create a report for each customer.

If you start a walk from "My pack" then you will be asked if you want to start a walk with a group report or separate reports.

**Schedule changes**
The “Notify customers” switch now defaults to off when updating a walk, check in, daycare, or boarding. It still defaults to on when creating a walk, check in, daycare, or boarding.

**Journal connections**
We've updated the customer details screen to better show you if a customer has connected their Journal. Before it would only show connected if the customer had both owners connected, now it will show connected if there is only one owner and they are connected, or if there are two owners and they are both connected.

**Location change**
We've changed the default location permission that the app asks for from "Always" to "When in use". Previously we thought that the app had to have "Always" access even though we would only access your location on walks and check ins, but we have realised that the app only needs "When in use" access. The extra benefit of this is that a blue location image will appear in the left of your iPhone's status bar when Walkies is in the background so you can clearly see that it is still tracking your location. We recommend changing your location from "Always" to "When in use".

Another reason we made this change is because often on someone's first walk or check in Apple would stop location access until you have accepted a second location access dialog that would appear, soon after starting the walk or check in, which is no good if the app is in your pocket, this shouldn't happen anymore.

Let us know if you have any issues with this.

**Bug fixes**
We should have fixed a UI bug that would cause the buttons at the end of a walk or check in to be squished, please let us know if you're still experiencing this.
We also should have fixed a bug that would cause images to not save properly for daycares or boardings, again, please let us know if you're still experiencing this.
We have hopefully fixed a crash that could occur when opening the app whilst a walk is in progress and you're in a very low signal area.
Made the button on the invoice notes screen "Send invoices" instead of just "Next".

Okay, so we probably got a little carried away with our last update. 

Our main focus was to allow people to select videos from their library and be able to select multiple photos at once, however, as a consequence of adding these things we also introduced a lot of other new stuff too which removed a lot of the default camera behaviour which wasn't good.

So, we've removed filters and multiple photo selection, but we've replaced them with the proper camera setup again, and we've kept the ability to select videos from your library.

Hopefully we can get multiple photo selection back into the app again soon. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

6. Crop a photo or video after you’ve taken it

This also fixes an issue where a thumbnail can be uploaded without a video.

**Edit notes after a walk or check in**
You can now update a walk or check in's notes after you're finished. Just go to a walk or check in's details, tap the more button in the top right, and then tap "Edit notes".

**Minor Schedule update**
We've increased the size of the hour increments on the Schedule so that the pet name's are no longer cut off on 30 minute events.

**Subscription checking**
Sometimes if you lose connection when opening the app your subscription status is not correctly set. This is usually not noticeable, but sometimes it can mean that, if you're Pro, the app might not send text messages at the end of walks and checks ins due to the account subscription status not being correct. 

To fix this you can now go to "Tracking settings" on the account screen and enable "Subscription checking". This will make the app check your subscription at the end of walks and check ins before sending customer texts. This will make ending a walk/check in take a couple seconds longer as it checks. You only need to turn this on if you have Walkies Pro and are having text message problems. If you have Walkies Plus you won't be affected.

**Other stuff**
We also fixed a missing "Not now" button when adding your company name and logo on sign up. 

**Fancy stuff**
New customer's can now "Sign in with Apple" which is a very fresh new thing iPhone's and iPad's can do.

***Schedule updates***

This week we bring a lot more functionality to the Schedule.

*1. Repeating events*
You can now add events that happen daily and weekly. As part of this when updating and deleting repeating events you can choose to update/delete just the event you're looking at or all of the future events as well.

*2. Windows*
You can add windows to you schedule. A window is a period of time that you can block out in your schedule that you can add and remove pets to and from. You can do this with regular events too, but we've made it really easy to add a window without having to select pets or team members.

*3. Made adding an event easier*
When adding an event the app will default to 8am on the day currently displayed on the schedule. So if you've scrolled to December 10th and then tap "Add event" or "Add window" the details screen will automatically default to December 10th at 8am.

We've made the end date picker default to 30 minutes after the start date picker, and when you change the start date picker's date we will automatically change the end date picker's date to 30 minutes ahead of the start date picker.

*4. Made adding an event even easier than above*
Simply long press on the schedule where you want to add an event or window and the start date on the details screen will start at the date you've long pressed on.

*5. Super smart customer messages*
We've made the email/texts that your customer's receive when you add, update, or cancel an event to take into account how often it occurs, when it starts, and much more. For example, if you add a walk that is weekly your customer will receive a message something like this: 
"Hello, your pet's walk booking has been booked for every Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, starting on Friday 6th December."

*6. Better information on the Schedule**
Each event will now display how many pets have been added so you can quickly see if you can fit anymore pets in. They will also show if the event is a one off, daily, or weekly event. We've also added a little loading view when the calendar is updating and a label that will tell you whose events you are currently looking at. Finally, the calendar will also default to just displaying your own events and events without a team member assigned.

*7. Start a walk or check in quicker*
Long press on a walk or check in to start it. You can also long press on a daycare or boarding to see it's details.

**In other news**
We've fixed a crash on the invoices screen when trying to share a Zelle invoice.
We've fixed a couple other crashes here and there.
We've fixed team member first name letters not displaying next to their name on the select team member screen, event details screen, and the filter screen.

4. Tap the booking to immediately start it and all pets are automatically added, no need to select them.

You’ll have to give it a go to see just how good it feels.

*Customers are notified*
Customers are automatically notified via email or text message when you add, update, or cancel, their booking. You can also turn these notifications off if you like.

*Assign team members to bookings*
Assign team members to bookings and they’ll appear in your team members schedule instantly. Filter your schedule to see just your own bookings, or a team member’s, or all of them.

*Access your schedule whilst on walks and check ins*
Easily keep track of what’s next by viewing and updating your schedule during a walk or check in.

Imagine booking in all of next week’s walks and then all you have to do is wake up on Monday morning and Walkies will show you exactly what the day has in store, and with just a couple taps you can start each walk. It’s a great way to organise your day, and your team’s.

**My pack has moved**
My Pack has moved into our new “Activity” tab alongside walks and check ins. This was to make room for Scheduling, but don’t worry, if you start all of your walks with My Pack you can now set it as your start screen! Read on to find out more.

**Change your start screen**
You can change your start screen. So if you’re someone who only does walks, or always starts their walks from the Pack screen, or you want to always start your day from the schedule, then you can! Simply go to your account screen and the scroll down to “Start screen settings”.

**Invoices available without subscription**
We've made it so that only the "Payment links" feature of Invoices is behind a pay wall, all other aspects are free to use.

**Fixes and optimisations**
Fixed an issue where starting a walk with the whole pack would not send individual walk reports per customer.

Fixed a crash that could occur at the end of a walk or check in if you had previously deleted a walk or check in.

We’ve made it so that you can use Walkies with “When using” location permissions but be warned, Walkies can’t track when the app is in the background or your phone is closed if you only have “When using”, you need “Always“ for that, and that’s what we strongly recommend you have so that you get the most out of Walkies.

iPad fixes so that it works better in split view and more. This makes organising your team schedule on your iPad, for the coming weeks, a great experience.

We’ve made the app play that bit nicer with iPhone SE screen sizes.

Fixed a bug that meant you could add more than 4 customers without a subscription but they wouldn't appear.
2.4.1 2019-11-13
Importantly this update fixes a crash on the walk/check in view when adding pictures and videos.

**Here's what else we've done**
1. Updated the walk/check in details screen so that it works a lot better. Firstly, it will not load instantly when you tap a walk or check in, no more waiting around. Secondly, we've moved the buttons from within an options menu to the top of the screen so you can quickly see what options you have and tap them. Finally, you can more easily swipe through your pictures and videos and saving them to your phone should be less crashy!

2. Moved the all other buttons out of their "Options" menu in Pet Sitting Details, Invoice Details, and Customer Details which means you can get to the actions you use the most that bit quicker throughout.

3. Added "treat" and "medication" tick boxes at the end of walks and check ins alongside the already added water, food, and litter box check boxes.

4. Made invoice sharing smarter. If you're sharing an invoice from the invoice details screen and that invoice has been marked as paid the profiled share message will let the customer know what their reference number is, when they paid it, and how they paid. It's perfect for if a customer wants some extra confirmation of payment.

5. Made it so that tapping save on the customer and pet details views closes the view and we've made it so that adding a dog defaults to "On lead". (Thanks for the tip Cole)

6. We've fixed an issue where walk/check in details would show ticks instead of crosses and crosses instead of ticks for the check list items

7. We've added to the tracking stopped notifications and they now support check ins.

8. We've updated a lot of our icons to be a lot nicer and very in line with iOS13 design.

Also, we tried to be a little bit too smart by combining walks and check ins into one list. It made things like resume and delete not work, so we’ve changed that bit back to how it was.

Nothing exciting in this one, we're just doing some clean up of minor issues that have popped up with the last release.

There was an issue where tapping a check in to view it's details meant that you couldn't delete or share it from the check in details view. We've also corrected some incorrect text on the walk view that said "walk" when it should have been saying "check in".

**Critical crash fixes**
We fixed a crash that was caused by starting a walk from the my pack view, and a couple crashes that could occur on the walk view that was caused by some recent changes to that view that allow you to add and remove dogs from the walk during the walk.

**Smoother walk tracking**
Our new feature that allows you to add dogs to your walk as you walk was causing the walk view to be laggy when you had low signal, that should be all fixed now. We think it may have also been causing a rare crash so hopefully that's gone now too.

Now, on to the funner stuff...

**Tracking stopped notification**
Sometimes due to how your phone manages background apps or if your phone's running low on memory it will automatically close apps. This is not ideal when you're on a walk and your phone is in your pocket and you don't realise it's stopped tracking... so we've added a notification! If the app closes whilst you're on a walk you'll receive a push notification. Simply tap it to relaunch the app and resume the walk. Go to "Tracking settings" on the account screen to turn tracking stopped notifications on.

We've also added a "Resume" button to the walk cards themselves when a walk is incomplete so you can resume a walk with just one tap, instead of having to go to walk details, tap options, and then tap resume.

**Low accuracy tracking**
Our app used to have a more strict location accuracy setting, which means if a point wasn't accurate enough it wouldn't track it. This meant that for some of you the app just would not track. So we lowered the accuracy and that has meant that some of you now get a little crazy tracking. A lot of these tracking issues were iOS13 related, and now that iOS13.2 is here that is supposed to fix tracking issues, so we have made our location accuracy more strict again. However, if this means that your app stops tracking again you can simply turn on "Lower accuracy" in "Tracking settings" on the account screen (It's in the same place as walk stopped notifications).

**More filters**
We've revamped the home screen to show all of your check ins and walks without the need to switch between them. However, if you want to see just walks or just check ins you can do that through the filter option. You can also filter by customer by simply selecting which customers you want to see walks or check ins for. Not enough? You can also filter by pet! Finally, you can select how many walks/check ins you want to see, which has been there for a while now actually but we thought we should mention it.

**Daycare & boarding have their own spaces**
Although daycare and boarding is pretty much the same thing, a few people mentioned that they want separate sections for them so they can better organise themselves, so here you go. You just need to go the new "Pet sitting" tab and then from there you can switch between daycare and boarding. Your past boardings and daycares have been moved to "History" which you can get to by tapping the "History" button on the Pet sitting screen. Now, to make these changes you now can not see any daycares/boardings from before this update, but if you really need to see one contact us via support and we can help.

This week we bring you a feature that has only been asked for twice, but we think it might be something you're going to like. It was asked for more recently by a customer we talk to regularly and has given us good feedback and so even if this feature isn't for everyone, we're happy to build it just for her (You know who you are).

So here's the feature - You can now start a walk and then add more dogs as you walk and then you can drop dogs off as you walk. This is great for those of you that start your walk and pick more dogs up along the way. This will also produce a separate report for each group of dogs you start with / pick up.

If you have picked up dogs along the way you'll be asked who's in the pictures and videos you take and then the pictures and videos will only be saved on the reports for the dogs that are in them.

In the near future we're going to extend this functionality so that when you start a walk you can choose if you want to produce a group report or individual reports per customer.

**Share your walk or check in during the walk or check in**
We've added a share button on the walk/check in view. This means that you can share a link to the walk/check through any compatible app such as WhatsApp, FB Messenger, iMessage, and more, at the start and throughout your walk/check in.

**New app icons!**
You can now select from a range of app icons. So if you'd rather have a cat app icon, or a bird app icon, you can. Or if you'd like an app icon that has a few different pets on it you can. This way you can make the Walkies app icon suit your business that little bit more. You just need to go to "Account" and then "App icon" to switch.

**New pet**
We've added horses to the app as a selectable pet type.

**Invoice improvements**
We've added cash and cheque options when you create an invoice. If you create a cheque invoice we'll automatically let your customers know who to make the cheque out to.

**Chat bug fixed**
We've fixed a bug that meant the chat support window would have a white bar across the top which would hide the white buttons and make it difficult to close. You should be able to see the buttons now.

**Improved pet notes for walks and check ins**
At the end of a walk or check in you can now quickly tick if the pet has had water or food, and if the pet happens to be a cat you can quickly tick if their litter box has been emptied. Finally, you can also add notes for each pet.

**CATS, BIRDS, FISH, REPTILES, and other pets now available!**
Another hugely requested feature was to be able to add different types of pets to customers, and now you can! If you're checking in or doing daycare you can now add any type of pet you like. We have set pet types for dogs, cats, birds, fish and reptiles, and then we have small pet to try and cover the rest.

We've fixed an issue with payment links setup returning an "Internal" error at the end. This should all work now so you can go ahead and set up easy payment links.

We've fixed an issue where adding an address to a customer when adding the customer would not work and we've made it so that you can save just one line of the address just in case you don't know all of it.

We've also changed the name of Boarding to Daycare. They are basically the same thing, but we felt Daycare might be the better wording to default too. You can still allow dogs to stay with you for more than one day.

We fixed a couple of issues surrounding Walkies Plus and Walkies Pro subscription restoration and we have added better error handling so if the purchase fails you can clearly see the reason why.

But that's not all, you'll also be able to shoot more videos! If you're a Walkies Pro member you can shoot up to 5 videos per walk or check in, instead of the 2 videos you can shoot with Walkies Plus, and not being able to shoot any videos if you don't have a subscription.

Finally, as a Walkies Pro member we'll track the weather conditions during your walk or check in that will be included in your customers reports. You will no longer have to type in the notes that it was wet, or too hot, the customer can just check the report and see for themselves.

Walkies Plus will start today at just $9.99, which is considerably cheaper than any of our competitors!

To purchase Walkies Pro or upgrade your Walkies Plus subscription you just need to go to your account in the Walkies app and you'll see the option to purchase Walkies Pro there.

**One message per owner, not one message per dog**
With this update the app will now send just one walk/check in started message, and just one walk/check in finished message per owner instead of for each dog! So those owners with more than one dog will be very happy to hear this!

**Other things**
On a more minor note you can now manage notification preferences per owner. So if one owner wants to receive emails, and the other wants to receive texts, you can do that. You can even turn off all notifications if you want to.

**Customer addresses**
You can now add an address to a customer and then you can get directions to them, via Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze, with the quick tap of a button from the customers list.

**Boarding history**
Adding to our just released boarding feature, you can now see past boardings and also delete them.

**Quick action menus**
We've added buttons to the top level lists of walks/check ins, my pack, boarding, customers and invoices to help you do the actions you do the most quicker. 

On the Walk/Check ins lists there is now a "Share" button so you can quickly share a walk or check in via text messages, WhatsApp, or any other other compatible app on your phone instead of going to Walk/Check in details.

On the My Pack list there is now a "Drop off" button so you can drop off a single dog with one tap of a button instead of having to open Select Dogs.

On the boarding list there is now a "Share" button and more importantly there is now an "Add update" button so you can quickly add an update to a dog's boarding without having to go to their boarding details.

On the customers list there is now a "Message" button so that you can quickly message customers via text or WhatsApp without having to go to Customer Details. 

On the invoices list there is now a "Share" button so that you can share invoices via any compatible app quickly, and there's also a "Mark as paid" button so that you can make invoices as paid without having to go to Invoice Details.

We've also fixed some bugs and some rare crashes.

**New feature alert - Introducing Boarding!**
You can now add dogs to board with you, whether it's for just the day or a whole week - or longer.

When you add a dog their owner will be notified with a link to our website to see all of the boarding updates throughout their time with you. Updates can be anything from a poop to a picture, to taking their medication, and more. 

You can even take a dog for a walk whilst they board and this will be added to that dog's boarding timeline.

When they have finished boarding with you the owner will be notified again.

**Walk & check in changes**
To make room for Boarding we have merged walks and check ins into one place - we call it Home. This means that it's now just as quick to start a check in as it is a walk.

**Invoice improvements**
We've added a filter to invoices so you can clearly switch between paid and unpaid invoices.

**iPad improvements**
We've done more work to make the app look even better on iPad, this should make the use of an iPad for boarding feel great.

The app is now iOS13 ready and supports Dark Mode.

There were a few minor issues with what the app looked like now that iOS 13 is here but that should be all smoothed out now. iOS13 also has a new way of sharing things with other apps and this was breaking the walk/check in link if you tried to share it via iMessage so we've fixed that too (It won't just take people to the homepage now).

In other news, we've tried to make tracking location that little bit better. One or two customers seemed to be having issues and we hope this does the trick in fixing these issues for them.

We've fixed a crash that could occur when trying to save videos on the walk/check in details view.

We've also made it so that you can send an invoice request, via any compatible app on your phone, from the invoice details screen so you don't need to rely on emails. Just tap "Options" and then "Share invoice".

Also, we've spent a little bit of time making the app a lot better on iPad, this might not be great for Walks, but for Check Ins and Boarding it makes sense.

Finally, we've also fixed a few other rare crashes we've seen and small bugs.

We've added a simple filter to the walk and check in lists as they were getting a little slow for some of you because you've done so many walks and check ins! They will now default to showing you your last 20 walks/check ins and then you can use the filter to see more.

We've also improved invoices. You can now go to your account to update your PayPal link, Venmo link, and bank information.

Finally, we've fixed a crash that affected some people that signed up through Facebook but didn't provide their email address. This crash will have caused the app to crash when signing up and when trying to open the app, so if this sounds like something you've experienced then give it another go. With this fix, Walkies should be 100% crash free!

Reminder: We've added videos to the app and it seems like you're loving them! We've had a lot of positive feedback from you and your customers which is fantastic! FYI, you can go to walk/check in details and save your videos to your phone by tapping the options button.

We have made quite a few changes in the app and on our server which will make the app more reliable, and even quicker. However, this does mean that you now NEED TO UPDATE YOUR APP otherwise your customers will get two "Walk finished" emails ever-time you finish a walk. We have also removed some old code from our server, so if you have a really old version of the app your customers may not get "Walk finished" emails at all.

So... bottom line... please update!

More information about the improvements - Sometimes you may have finished a walk and then suddenly your app seemed to freeze after tapping the "Send walk reports" button. Subsequently you could see that the walk had been saved in your app, but the walk hadn't been saved in a special place that means your customers get an email. Long story short, this shouldn't happen anymore. Thus making the app more reliable, and even quicker.

HERE IS AN INTERESTING SIDE EFFECT - In theory if you finish a walk when you have very little or no data connection, you can now just open the app when you do have connection again and the app should sync up with our server and fire off those walk report emails. This is a theory, so let us know how it goes, and we'll keep an eye on it too!

This is a fun update! Introducing Analytics. Analytics gives you information about your last 7 days, month, or year worth of walks. You'll be able to see how far you've walked, the number of walks you've been on, and which dogs you've walked the most. You can find analytics where account used to be, don't worry, you can still access your account information via the analytics screen.

We have also made it so that team members can properly add customers now.

Hello! A few updates this week:
1. We've added arrows throughout the app that make it a little more obvious what can and can't be tapped. So it's hopefully a little more obvious that you can tap a customer to see all of their details, and you can tap a customer's dog to update their information.
2. We've made it so that all team members can add, delete, and update customers, not just admins.
3. We fixed a rare crash that could occur when starting a walk if you had previously denied the Walkies app access to your location.

Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! It happened again. We had a pretty nasty bug that was stopping you from going on Walks and Check Ins. The good news is that it should all be good to go now, and what's even better is that we have fixed some other little bugs that could have happened if you ever lost internet connection.

In other news, have you tried out My Pack yet? It lets you send pick up and drop off emails to your customers. It's great for those of you who pick all of the dogs up first before walking them all a little later on.

We’re absolutely spoiling you guys lately. Here is yet again another pretty big update!

We’ve all been there, in the middle of a walk or check in, and then you’ve accidentally closed the Walkies app and lost your walk or check in. Well you no longer have to worry because you can resume walks and check ins!

How to:
1. Incomplete walks and checkins are now marked with a red incomplete badge.
2. Tap them to see more details about them.
3. Tap the more button in the bottom right of the more details screen (the circular one with three dots in the middle).
4. Tap “Resume walk/check in”.

It’s as easy as that.

In other news, walk/check in photos are now saved as you take them, so your customers don’t need to wait until the end of the walk or check in to see lovely pictures of their doggos. This also means that when you complete a walk or check in and send the reports it will happen a little faster as the photos have already been saved and don’t need to be saved all at once at the end like they used to be.

Now it’s time for a little bit of a game changer. Introducing My Pack.

My Pack allows you to send pick up and drop off emails! When you pick up a doggo you can add them to your pack and this will send the owner an email letting them know their doggo has been picked up. Then once you have picked up all of the doggos for that walk and added them to your pack you can start the walk in one tap. The owners will still get walk start emails and walk reports at the end. Then when you drop them off back at home you can remove the doggos from your pack and their owners will be emailed to let them know.

It’s great for those of you that pick up doggos when their owners aren’t around and for those of you that have day care! For day care you can add doggos to your pack in the morning when you pick them up, take them on a walk or two at any point in the day and then remove them from your pack once you drop them off back at home in the evening. Your customers will be emailed when their doggos get picked up, start their walks, finish their walks, and dropped off. They’ll love it!

Possibly our biggest update yet!

1. Walk and check in start emails - When you start a walk or check in the owners of the dogs you are walking will get an email letting them know.
2. Realtime walk and check in updates - Your customers can see the walk and check in information in realtime, so basically this means that as soon you say their doggo has done a poop they'll know about it. They'll also be able to see your route as you walk it on a map, this is a great way to continue to build trust with your customers.
3. We've made the email notifications more personalised with dog's names. It's a really nice little touch that we think your customers will love.

To celebrate the new year we have a few updates here for you at Walkies.

1. When you have finished a walk or check in you will now see a "Share" button. Tap this to share a link to the walk / check in using another app on your phone such as WhatsApp. We'll still automatically send an email too.
2. You can now quickly text message and WhatsApp your customers from the customer details screen, just look for the two new buttons.
3. We made saving walk photos much better. Not only do we save the photos to a "Walkies" album so that they are all in one place, we also make it more clear that they are being saved.
4. We have also fixed some bugs.

A huge thank you to our first Premium subscribers! It means so much to us. Here are some improvements and fixes:

1. We've added a "How to" section, so you can get a quick overview of how the app works. You can find this in settings.
2. We've also made it a little bit easier to join teams as now you can join a team after signing up.
3. You can now easily instant message us from Facebook Messenger by following the link in the app. So if you have any problems we'll be able to get to the bottom of them nice and quickly.
4. We've also made some minor improvements here and there to make the app work even more smoothly.

We fixed a bug that affected saving your company's logo. There was an invisible save button that you had to tap to save it, however, as it was invisible it was rather hard to see.

BIG THING
We know that not all doggos go for walks, they just need someone to be with them for a little while and look after them. So we have added the ability to CHECK IN with your customer's doggos. It works exactly the same as a Walk Report does, you simply select the dogs, start your check in, take pictures and count poops, and then end the check in which will automatically email a Check In Report to your customer.
