This update sets the much faster "Performance" connection as the default setting. If you haven’t switched to the Performance connection before, you will be greeted with a new QR code to scan and you are connected :)
This updates also includes the following:
- Pinned chats in Performance mode will now stick to the top and archived/blocked contacts will be pushed down
- Fixed issues that came up when sending a voice recording for the first time
So far, many people love the new Performance connection but as always please let me know if you run into any issues

Probably the most requested feature and I finally got it working! Please note that sending voice messages is only supported in the new Performance Mode - which you should enable anyway as it's much faster. Once you click the microphone icon you will be prompted to enable the new mode.

Previously, you’ve had to navigate through a few pages to get a name starting with ’S’ for example. Now, you can simply select a letter range from the top (in this example that would be "Q-Z") to jump to names starting with the corresponding letter. Localization for other character (non-latin) sets is planned but I need your help for this as I only know latin characters. So don’t hesitate to get in touch if the latin set isn’t working for you; we are going to figure this out :)

Unlike the keyboards that are already available in WatchChat, you do not need to hit the letters precisely - just touching somewhere near them is enough for FlickType to figure out what word you are going to type. If you prefer the keyboards that you have been using in WatchChat before that's totally fine - I am always looking for ways to improve the existing keyboards and the keyboard button will always stay at its place - but if you want to give FlickType a go, hit the button right next to it :)
