Owners of the WatchDog Portable Wind Sensor (a handheld anemometer) can use the WatchDog Wind app to display and record the wind speed and direction from the ultrasonic sensor, along with local temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure obtained from the cloud.

Spray equipment operators can get immediate and precise measurements, allowing them to make better pesticide application decisions. Tapping a button records the current conditions with a time and location stamp. The records can be emailed directly from the app for a day or a date range.

Knowing the current conditions helps avoid negative impact from drift, improving the pesticide coverage on the targeted area while ensuring the safety of surrounding people, crops, livestock, wildlife, and plants - demonstrating good stewardship. Show More
