Added a few new things to make the Watchee app even better!
Introducing Watchee-notifications. It's now possible to get notifications straight from the app when certain events occur for the watches in your collection.
One can naturally enable/disable all the notifications from the app's settings tab (also need to enable when the app asks permission for notifications).
Current list of notifications is as follows:
- Wear notifications, so that you don't forget to mark any watches worn during the day.
- Long running accuracy measurements.
- Expiring warranties.
This version also adds two new statuses for watches, namely "Incoming" and "Short List". It's nice to fill in all the details for any watches you may have ordered and are eagerly waiting to arrive.
Meanwhile in Watchee the status may now be set as "Incoming" and then later changed to something else when the watch has arrived. The "Short List" status could be used i.e. for any watches you may be considering
to acquire in the near future.
This update also adds some new values for dial color and glass -options.

Once again there was a wonderful suggestion from a Watchee user for the app (warmest thanks for the suggestion!). Watchee allows one to track the total wear count for watches so why not also automatically calculate the "Cost per wear" for each watch.
Essentially it will divide the cost of a watch with the total wear count for it, so each time one wears a watch the cost is going to go down accordingly.
-Optimizations for the dark mode color contrast when adding/editing watches.
-There's a new cool "Brand and model plate graphic" in the watch details.
-New options for the various predefined value lists to ease adding/editing of watches.
-The CSV-export file now also includes the status-field's value.

Introducing Keeper Rate and Seller Rate!
Some of the common questions for many watch enthusiasts are: Is this watch a Keeper? Which characteristics of a watch make a keeper for me? What kind of watches will I eventually end up selling and should perhaps avoid buying in the first place? Well quess what? Watchee can now offer some help for these exact questions with the introduction of Keeper Rate and Seller Rate -functionalities!
Watchee has had for a long time the ability to track daily wearing of watches. Now this feature is taken a bit further. Keeper Rate is achieved by calculating the averages across user’s collection for many key attributes such as diameter, thickness, case material, movement type and so on and comparing the watch of interest against those collection average values. It also adds Wear Rate to the equation. The App now also calculates a “Seller Rate” to reveal the likelihood by which a certain watch has been sold from the collection. The aim of these features is to help the user to discover from his/hers own collection the watch characteristics which most often have lead to buying or selling a specific watch. Also it can be very interesting to see the average year, price, brand and so on for the entire collection.
And for those of us who really love statistics, the Keeper Rate will keep changing a bit during time as one's collection changes and various watches are worn and so on. Therefore if you have enabled History logging within the app's settings, each time the Keeper Rate is calculated, it will make an entry with the result and calculation date to the end of the History log for later review.

One of the nicest things with modern App-development process is the fact that the App users often give great feedback for desired new features.
For this update there was an excellent suggestion regarding the recently introduced "Watch Status" -functionality.
Now you can set the status of the watch as "My Next watch". This way you can fill in all the details regarding the watch you're going to get next. Chances are that during the discovery of your next dream watch you'll find some new details regarding it or you might even
change your mind and go after some other cool watch. If you do get the watch you were after, by the time you will buy it, you can have all the details (except serial number and such of course) ready in the Watchee collection. Many thanks for this great suggestion!

Watchee has had the ability to generate beautiful pdf-files for a single watch out of the entire collection for a while now. What's been missing is the way to export the most important details for all the watches in the collection.
This update widens the scope of the settings tab, which is now called "Settings & Tools". At the very bottom of this tab now appears a new button labeled "Export CSV". So one can now with a tap of this button
export the most important details of the entire collection to a CSV-format file, which can then be further examined by popular spreadsheet-programs.

- Movement type (*new*). Very handy if you simultaneously tap the info-button to reveal movement details. You get the list of your watches ordered by movement type (manual, automatic and so on) and you will also see the caliber and power reserve of that movement.
- Purchase date (*new*). This is particularly handy if you simultaneously tap the info button to reveal watch age and ownership duration. This way you will see i.e. which watch was acquired the most recently and how many days, months, years ago.

- Year of manufacture

The list of features for Watchee just got bigger again! This time introducing the accuracy measuring feature.
You can now measure the accuracy for all the watches in your collection. Each watch can have multiple measurements and you can also track the circumstances of each measurement, was the watch on your wrist, in box and so on.
When a particular measurement is active you can check an interim result for it, but then decide to continue with the measurement and thus retain the start time of the measurement. For best results it's recommended to measure the watches for full 24-hour periods, but
you can certainly measure for shorter periods as well just remembering that more reliable results are achieved with 24 hour measurement. Hopefully you will enjoy this update and as always, the update is totally free for existing app users.

With this update it's time to introduce a big usability improvement. You can now cycle through various pieces of information directly from main watch list without having to drill down in to watch specific details so often.
One cycles through available displays with the new Info-button. For ease of use there's also an indicator that shows which display is selected.
The new quick displays are:
- Original main watch list: Brand, Model, Year
- Wear count, last worn date, days since last worn
- Movement type, movement caliber, power reserve
- Reference id, Serial number, set completeness
- Purchase price, sold price, profit/loss indicator with color coding
- Watch age, current ownership in years, months and days. Ownership period (years, months, days) for sold watches.

If your watch collection already consists of multiple watches it can sometimes be difficult to choose which watch to wear on a particular morning.
The all new Watch Of The Day -feature will suggest you a random watch from your own collection and I if you choose to go with the suggestion, it will automatically also increment Wear Rate -statistics and History Log for you.
