About Workspace ECT
How long do you spend each day managing messages, phone calls and meetings? Do you need to juggle a dozen different apps just to communicate with your colleagues?
Workspace can simplify communication with your colleagues.
Workspace is a workstream collaboration solution that allows you to communicate securely through instant messaging, phone calls, and audio/video conferencing.
The advantages of using Workspace are:
- Your phone number lives in the application, meaning you can make and receive calls in the app as if from your phone line.
- Your colleagues are all gathered in one place. You can see their availability and decide whether a message or a call is the best way to communicate with them.
- You can organize your teams or departments around “groups”, and categorize your chatgroup discussions using “topics”.
- You can schedule or start audio and video meetings with colleagues or with external contacts. Meetings can be recorded, too.
You can conduct unified communications searches and forward them to colleagues or workgroups. These searches can include the results of call or meeting notes, files, messages and even emails (requires connection to your email account)

Landscape Mode for Video Calls: Rotate your phone to view other participants' videos or screens in full-screen.
Invite Teammates to Groups: Invite new members to a Group on your phone.

A Completely New Voice and Video Call Architecture: A long-awaited update for a better video call experience. You can now join multi-party video calls even with poor internet connection. To give you a better idea, a bandwidth of 2mbps would be more than enought to hold a 10-party video call without interruption. Besides, you will no longer experience a silence for 2 seconds when you turn your camera on.
4 Times Better Voice Quality: Enjoy a better voice quality as we switched to OPUS as our primary audio codec where possible. OPUS offers 4 times better compression and supposedly, a way better voice quality. Give it a try and let us know if you noticed the difference.
Faster loading messages: Your conversations are not only loaded faster, but also cached so that you save time and bandwidth each time you navigate to a conversation.
