Dark Noise 2.5.1 is a minor update with loads of under the hood improvements in service of the new Dark Noise for Mac now available on the Mac App Store.

- Enabled next and previous buttons on the Lock Screen widget
- Fixed some bugs on the create mix screen
- Small UI improvements to iPad

2.4 is a minor update with optimizations for running on the new M1 Macs!
- On a Mac unsupported features should no longer show up in settings
- The volume slider on the player page will now work by only changing the audio of Dark Noise while running on a Mac

2.3 is a minor update all about themes!
- Brand new Aesthetic Pink and Aesthetic Blue themes
- New alternate app icons matching the Aesthetic Pink and Aesthetic Blue themes
- Black themed widgets are now pure black to let them melt into a pure black wallpaper (looks amazing on OLED screens to!)
- New "Remove Padding" option for widgets will make widget icons align correctly with app icons while using a pure black wallpaper with the black themed widget

Dark Noise 2 is the next major evolution of the best ambient noise app on iOS. Mixing sounds has been the most requested feature since launch and I’m excited to announce it’s finally here! A lot of work went in to maintaining the simplicity and tight iOS integration Dark Noise is known for and I’m very proud of the results. Along with iCloud syncing, new sounds, new icons, and loads of bug fixes this is the biggest update to date.

New Features

Create Mix • Build your own custom mix from any number of sounds. Mix multiple of the same sound for even more variety! Animated icons can be built using the new icon creator or images or animated GIFs can be imported from the Photo Library.

iCloud Syncing • Custom mixes and favorites will now sync to all of your devices using iCloud! No need to sign in or configure anything, your data will simply follow you to all of your Apple devices.

8 New Sounds • New sounds have been added to the Dark Noise catalogue and can now be played separate or added to mixes.

- Ship Deck

- Lullaby

iPad Pointer Support • Navigate Dark Noise 2 with a trackpad or mouse with full pointer support on the iPad.

New Icons • Get your textures on with a new skeuomorphic icon added to the list of custom icons. And the new Launched icon is in honor of the podcast of the same name by Dark Noise developer Charlie Chapman.

And More! • Bug fixes, improved shortcuts support, a rewritten audio engine, and even a new “Auto Volume” experimental feature round out the biggest update yet.

Bug fixes galore! 1.3 contains multiple fixes to the audio engine as well as a new Boost Audio feature in "Dark Labs" if you'd like your noises a little bit louder.
