About 6X806 Drum Machine Synth
A 6 track drum machine synthesiser & sequencer for creating beats, electro rhythms or wacky synth blips. Create sounds like the famous TR808 and 606 drum machines.
Synthesizer controls shape each sound on each track to various electro synth drum & percussion sounds.
Create drum patterns using step edit as on various drum synthesisers, drum machines & sequencers or can be generated randomly.
Independent FX, GarageBand routing, Ableton Link, IAA, & Audiobus 3 support.
Parameter Set to step per track manually or while playing.
Press P-Set to enter mode (Flashing). turn dials, this stores on that current step. Double tap the P-Set to enter erase mode. Any dial turned will erase all that dials settings for the whole track.

Dynamics. Each step per track can also have a variable dynamics level (double tap) to accentuate pitch, filter or amplitude.
RANDOM FILL: From zero to 100 percent this will create random non accentuated steps in mealtime so you can create free flowing dynamic drum beats sequences.
Adjust number of steps & offsets in each track to create complex poly rhythms
INIT starts over with a blank pattern.

Blue tint shows if your are in Pattern Play still. This is great for building up live tracks and can be cut instantly like DJ cross-fade.
With P-Lock enabled, loading patterns locks parameters & just loads the patterns.

To save you press "Save To", it then flashes. Now choose destination ("!" means its occupied ) then press "Save All" to confirm.

(3.0 broke and 3.1 had a bug in the switch buttons (SORRY ABOUT THAT), so this is the fixed version):
*. Added parameter set for almost all knobs per step (manually or while sequence is playing)
Press P-Set to enable (flashing) Double tap P-Set to enter erase mode. Turning any dial will either set / lock that parameter to the currently selected or playing step on current track; or erase all parameter sets to all steps on current track. Colour of dial ring will be red when there is an active parameter on current step. You can clear all parameter sets for all active dials on the whole sequence using CLR params (in Edit Sequence).
*. Added 3 bars for total of 4 bars and 64 steps per track . The bar the track is currently playing within will be shown across the top row step LEDs. Choosing Bar 1-4 in Edit Step area, selects which bar to enter steps into.
*. Modified and reduced the gate time so if Gate mode on VCA is enabled, it's shorter and more noticeable for really short pulses of sounds.
*. iPad UI mode. If using iPad, you can choose to either use the new UI layout that removes sub menus and allows you to access more knobs at the same time for more hands-on control.
*. Changed Expand function so that it automatically extends length of track to 64 steps. This makes it easier to convert 4/16/32 steps to repeat to the rest of the bars so you can make subtle changes to the other bars, making your beats less repetitive. Fixed some frequency range to the filters. Sometimes the envelope would push them off into another universe. (More apparent with the band-pass filter)
Pan and Bass levels from the mixer are now saved in the program. (Mixer Levels and Mute are not so you can fade between mixing patterns)
Removed "Preview" button as this almost duplicated the preview track button. Replaced with P-Lock that locks the synth settings when loading a new pattern - it just loads the steps.
Added a bit more sub bass.
Edited the preloaded pattern when you first install.
Fixed the parallel high pass so that the extents were within a more interesting audible range
Added some more resonance to the filters.
Added a bit more area at the low end of the cut off dial to play with.
Some minor optimisation
PLEASE NOTE due to some ranges being extended, any saved patterns may sound a tiny weeny bit different. Mainly if you used resonance, bass or hi-split filter level

Added naming of exported loops with BPM and date/time amended to the filename.
Refined dial control so you can cover most of the range from screen space but also micro adjustment when moving slowly. Also dial snaps to ends instead of wobbling at the end.
Fixed incorrect recording length at start because the first ever capture was never trimmed properly.
