Any Day runs on your iPhone. Why your iPhone? Because you’ll have it handy when you want to make a journal entry. Any Day has a clean, no-frills, intuitive interface, and leverages the iPhone’s built-in capabilities to keep track of the time and location of your journal entries, to incorporate photos, movie clips, sketches and sound clips, all without getting in your way. You can search and export your journal as well.

To make it easier to use exports (backup or html), the exported folders are now visible in the Files app, under "On My iPhone". Copy them to iCloud Drive or any other service you've enabled in Files (requires iOS 11). (Plus internal minor updates.)

New: Any Day Journal now supports backing up your journal to independent storage, as well as restoration. Your journal can be restored on a different device than the one that created the backup. If you have valuable material in your journal, please make a backup from time to time, especially before major iOS upgrades or moving to a new phone.
Fixed: sketches created on 32-bit devices did not display correctly on 64-bit devices. They do now.
Improved: assorted minor cosmetics
Attention iOS 6 users: At some point in the relatively near future, new versions of Any Day Journal will require iOS 7 or better. One reason backup is available before then is to make your transition as safe as possible (ordinarily updating iOS versions, or even moving to a new phone, should be uneventful, but we have backups to deal with the extraordinary times). This version of Any Day will continue working, but you won't be able to update at some point. Think about updating your iOS (and hey, the iPhone 6 is really, really nice!).
