About BDO QuickTrip

Helping you manage tax and immigration for international business travellers.

BDO QuickTrip is an online platform and App which has been developed to help HR and finance teams manage the increasing number of tax and immigration challenges for their organisation and international business traveller community.

Expatriate industry trends over the past decade have continued to show a marked decline in the number of traditional long-term assignments, with an increasing shift towards shorter-term movements of employees. Now these short-term assignments, while still commonplace, are being joined by a growth in the number of business travellers, moved to work at short notice, for shorter but not pre-determined periods, on specific tasks or projects. Business commuters with regional or global responsibilities have also become far more common in recent years.

With the increase of business travellers moving around the globe, this brings its own set of challenges for HR and finance teams to ensure the management of the businesses’ and employees’ tax affairs are compliant.

BDO QuickTrip platform enables employers to track their business travellers’ international movement through the use of GPS (or manual entries if preferred), assisting both the employer and employee to monitor working time spent in each country to ensure there is clarity on tax compliance.

BDO QuickTrip will enable the tracking of your business traveller population, the production of reports to aid the compliance obligations that could arise both for the traveller and the employer, and a system of alerts to provide warning when a tax event could be on the horizon so that tax efficient planning can be undertaken to minimise any unintended tax leakage from the business.
