- Chain stores may now edit customer information in any location, no matter where the customer was created originally.
- Introduced a customizable template engine for receipts, labels, and more. You may now build your own labels utilizing HTML and CSS.
- Added a new feature that allows you to split a sale among multiple sales associates without assigning each line item. With this change you can split a sale by percentage or dollar amount (Sales person A gets credited for 60% and sales person B gets credited for 40%, or sales person A gets credited for $120 and Sales person B credited for $80).
- “Sales” has been renamed to “Register Sales”. The “Register Sales” page now contains two tabs: “Current” and “Archived” with the Current tab displaying today’s sales and Archived displaying past sales.

-Modifier Prefix: Allows you to quickly choose common prefixes for modifiers. The default options for the Modifier Prefixes are: “Add”, “Less”, “More”, “Change”, “With”, “No”, and “Side”. You can use these to indicate customer specified preferences for an order. For example a sandwich may have “Honey Mustard” as an existing modifier option. The customer may order the sandwich with Honey Mustard on the side. The modifier prefix allows the employee to easily enter this information by tapping on the word “Side” before tapping on the “Honey Mustard” modifier.

-Change Product Name at Checkout: “Overwrite Name” checkbox on inventory page allows product name to be changed at checkout.

New features:
• Exempt Item from Discount: There’s a new checkbox for each inventory item called “Exempt Item from Discount”. Select this for an item to prevent it from being discounted. When this box is checked no discounts will be able to be added to the item.

• Invoice Effective Date: Set an “Effective Date” when creating an invoice, the sale will not show on your reports until that effective date.

• Invoice Discounts: Apply discount to a whole invoice using new Invoice “Options” button.

• “Advanced Reports”: A new sidebar menu item called “Advanced Reports” gives you access to all Bindo Dashboard reports on your iPad. For reports that are available in both the “Reports” and “Advanced Reports” section (such as the Sales Summary Report), it is recommended to continue to access the report via the “Reports” page.

• Decimal inventory quantity: You may now enter decimal inventory quantities for an item, such as 7.5 units. While Bindo will not yet track partial units of an item sold (currently all sales are counted as -1, even for weight based items), this feature is part of a change coming where you will be able to sell and track partial units.

• Rounding Optional: Removed “Rounding” from the receipt for stores that are using the default rounding option (2 decimal places, round to nearest cent)

Bindo Restaurant/QSR Specific Features
• Split check: Split check among multiple diners, you may split evenly or with custom amounts

• Build a "Combo" Item: Create a menu item that consists of multiple items in your inventory. Apply modifiers to all items in a combo using a single modifier screen. Set modifier prices to items in a Combo as regular "Fixed" price, or "Variable" price where you define the price at checkout.

• Receipt content options: Option to show/hide modifiers and notes (default setting is on), as well as Signature line and tip line on printed check (default setting is off)

• Auto Sign Out: Set the POS to sign out automatically after 90 seconds by enabling the screensaver. Users can also sign out by tapping the lock button in the top right corner and then sign back in by entering their password or PIN (no need to enter username or email address).
• Tax Options: Add multiple taxes to a sale, create a luxury tax, bottle deposit, and more. Manage your taxes from Dashboard > Settings > Tax Options.
• Permissions: Customize permissions for Manager, Associate and Junior Associate via Dashboard > Settings > Permissions.
• Separate Sales and Invoice screens: The Sales and Invoices screens were previously merged. This release continues our work to split them apart and keep them separate.
• “Decimal Keypad”: You now have the option to enter all number values as whole dollar amounts. So if you want to add a $5.00 charge to a sale, you can just tap 5 (currently you have to tap 5, 0, 0). This can be toggled on/off on the iPad in Settings > Add-ons > Use decimal keypad.
• New Reports: Gift Card Report and Discounts Report are now available on the iPad. (Discounts Report is also available on the Bindo Dashboard).
• Tax on Purchase Orders: You may now apply tax to Purchase Order.
• Kitchen Printing: Print kitchen slips to a kitchen printer. Set up printing based on department.
• New Modifier Functionality: Additional flexibility with modifiers as explained here: http://support.bindo.com/article/123-modifier-sets
• Negative Sale: Create a return without the original receipt. Create an invoice, select the customer, add the product and set the quantity to -1. When you save the invoice, you'll be prompted to process a refund.
