Expanded Poll Types
Communicators can now get feedback on employee sentiment, alignment, and engagement with polls sent to all employees or targeted to specific groups.


Expanded Acknowledgment Goal
With 4.1.0, acknowledgement buttons can now be seen on video, link, note, and image content cards, in addition to articles.


Improved Deep Linking
The new mobile app makes it easier for users to access specific content or pages through a deep link and encourages mobile adoption for users who haven't yet downloaded the app.


These enhancements include:
• Cutting and pasting a URL directly from a browser will deep link to the correct content.
• If a user needs to sign in to view the deep-linked content, they will be automatically redirected to the content after successfully signing in.
• If a user clicks on a deep link and they do not have the app downloaded, they will be directed to download the app.
• Users that share content will share the onfirstup.com URL (or vanity URL, if applicable):
• For users on 4.1.0 & above, ALL links will resolve to the program's URL.
• Previously used advocate.socialchorus.com URLs will still work as well.
• Many additional paths will deep link not just to content, but to other areas of the platform, like Discover, Profile or Resources.

New Navigation: We reworked the navigation for simplicity and consistency. We made the features users need every day more prominent and made finding what matters more intuitive.

Album Posts: With Albums posts users can upload multiple images at once, creating more engaging image posts.

• Introducing Search: Search for content, people, and channels from the mobile app! The Search icon has taken the place of the Featured tab in the main navigation bar.
• Redesigned Home Tab: Home now includes 3 tabs for My Feed, Featured, and Trending.
• Improved Navigation: Featured has moved to the Home tab, as a feed filter. Featured still operates the same way, and includes a badge counter showing the number of new featured items within the mobile app, and on the mobile app icon.
• Updated Deep-Linking for Articles: Deep-linked push notifications to Articles now take you directly to the full Article body so you can start reading a post right away!
• Private Profile Changes: You can now navigate to another user’s profile, even if it’s been set to private, but you cannot see details other than name & avatar.

• You can now submit video content from the mobile app!
• The content submission flow has been redesigned, so it’s simpler and easier than ever to submit image and link posts.
• The Submit page now provides a handy list of content you’ve submitted, based on status (uploading, pending review, published, archived), as well as some “stats” on how much you’ve posted, and how the community has responded!
