About Chorus: Whats Trending Locally
Chorus is the place to discover what is trending in a local area, as recommended by local people.
Chorus focuses on local businesses, connecting them to consumers based on their location, and common interests through two forms of content: posts, and stories. For the first time, social media will be focused on location and meaningful connections, prioritising independent businesses and their communities, as well as a longer-term vision to encourage more sustainable, local shopping.
And, most importantly, CHORUS IS NOT INTERESTED IN ANYONE’S PERSONAL INFORMATION and is fully functional without any form of registration. Privacy is important to us.
It’s an exciting time to join this movement - just start posting on Chorus for free.

Posts
- You can now Bookmark a post. These can either be public so that they can be viewed with your profile by others, or private which would be for your own use only.
- A title field when creating a post has been added. This could include a business name if needed.
- You can now share and email a post to a friend.
- You can now add up to 3 images to a standard post.
- The radius from which you can create posts from your current location has been increased
Location avatars
- You can now add a description for your business with images to your location Profile. You can also include your contact details, your web site, instagram and facebook links. This information is easily accessible from all your posts enabling for example, your users to call you directly from the app.
- Now your location profiles can be securely shared, so content can be posted from the same profile by multiple users.
- One month free trial is now available for Location Profiles.
Gurus
- When a user posts popular content regularly, that user’s status changes to Chorus Guru. A Chorus Guru can now promote themselves on the platform by adding information about themselves, which could include their web site, and social media links. This information will be easily accessible from all their posts.
- As a Guru you can also posts to a much larger radius.
