This is the first version of our app and we would love your feedback. Please submit your requests and feedback using the feedback option at the bottom of your home screen.
Features you can expect include the City of Brandon’s event calendar, Google Transit maps and public notices. We will be adding additional functionality regularly.
You can customize your home screen through the customized home menu under the settings option on your home screen.

MyCity App Version (1.10)
Thank you for downloading the MyCity App. This app aims to provide our citizens with more convenient information as to what is happening in the City of Brandon. With the release of version 1.10, we are happy to announce several interface enhancements as well as a new emergency notification system.
New Features
Emergency Notices. In the event of an emergency (such as one that the city sirens alert to or an Amber Alert), the MyCity App can now send push notifications directly to your mobile devices. Simply click on the notification and a page with details of the emergency will be opened. At the same time, we will be pushing important information about the emergency to the Emergency Notices section of the App. If an emergency happens it is critical for us to spread the information as widely and as quickly as possible. To help this simultaneously to the MyCity App issuing the emergency push notification, the emergency notification will be visible at the top of city websites, where you also can click the notification to get further details. We are using the city open data portal to power these emergency notifications, so the information will also be shared publicly at (http://opengov.brandon.ca) for other developers and citizens to tap into and use on their websites and apps. The new open data dataset is called Emergency Notifications and is available in several formats as well as through our open data API. So we hope that our community will help to enhance our ability to spread the word during an emergency.
Native Support of iPads. You can now enjoy the same app functionality on your iPad using native support.
Snow Map. Improvements for displaying in the app
Report an Issue. A more convenient way to report issues like potholes.
Resolution Enhancements. The resolution in the app now matches the current resolution settings of your device.
