About ClapKit

ClapKit is a mobile shooting log for Assistant Directors.

Built for real sets where every second matters. ClapKit replaces paper shot logs, stopwatches, and manual data re-entry. You capture everything during production — no rewriting into Excel after wrap.

What you can do in ClapKit:

create projects, shoot days, scenes, and shots;
log takes in seconds;
run an action timer on the main workspace screen;
set DAY/NIGHT, INT/EXT, SYNC/MOS, and PickUp modes;
add notes and quick tags;
run a true MultiCam workflow with per-camera Roll/File and per-camera tech settings;
keep tech values between takes;
export clean reports to CSV and XLSX;
transfer a full project between devices via .clap file.
Extended parameters:

Camera Model, Lens Model
ND, Diopter, Stop, Stock
Aspect, Movement, Rig
Why it works well on set:

clean, calm UI with no overload;
minimal manual typing;
consistent, production-ready data format for editorial and post;
local-first storage with no mandatory sign-up.
ClapKit brings structure to set chaos: the right data is captured immediately, nothing gets lost, and your report is ready to export.
