About Cloud Register
Cloud Register allows you to run Register on an iPad, giving you a larger screen to enter orders, modify items, and customize your Register.
Some features we think you might enjoy, include:
- View up to 63 products or categories on a single page
- Store over 3500 products and 63 categories
- Additional tax and custom item functionality
- Customizable product tile background images
- Quick print option for up to last 5 receipts
For additional ease:
- Entered items are displayed to your customer
- Your customers can enter a tip, and select receipt options (email, text, print) from the Poynt Smart Terminal

- Pre-tax toggle on custom discounts and fees: Cloud Register now supports pre-tax discounts and fees! When toggled on, this option applies a discount or fee before tax calculation occurs (otherwise, they apply directly to the total)
- Custom priced items: Items marked with the "custom price" option will now prompt for a price each time you add them to the order (useful for products that are sold by weight or similar)
- Custom item matching: As you enter the price of a custom item, you will be shown other items on the catalog with the same price (in case you meant to add them but couldn't find them)
