CuttingImpactRadius is a handy app that helps you set the right cutting speeds and feeds in seconds. It can find cutting speed from diameter and RPM, or give you the RPM from your chosen cutting speed and tool size. You can work out feed per tooth from feed rate, RPM, and number of flutes with no hard math. The app also shows your metal removal rate so you can see how fast you are taking material off. You can tune chip load to get better tool life and stable cutting. It lets you compare depth of cut against tool life so you can choose safe but fast settings. Cycle time, parts per tool, and cost per part are all easy to see so you know the real cost of every job. It even gives a simple surface finish estimate based on feed and nose radius to help you hit quality targets.
