About CWSAP

This is the official app for CWSAP 2016.

Background :

The Cyber Wellness Student Ambassador Programme (CWSAP) is a collaboration between MOE and MDA under the auspices of the Inter-Ministry Cyber Wellness Steering Committee (ICSC). It is in partnership with School of Science & Technology, Singapore (SST) for Primary schools.
This by students, for students conference provides an extended platform to engage student voice and promote cyber wellness peer advocacy.

The objectives of the CWSAP are:

1. To complement existing cyber wellness education efforts by providing an extended platform for student voice on cyber wellness
2. To engage students in cyber wellness advocacy through discussions on cyber wellness issues and formulation of peer advocacy projects
3. To create opportunities for teachers to network and share good cyber wellness practices and strategies

Based on the theme “Play Your Part For A Better Internet”, the CWSAP 2016 conference will engage students on the essential role of cyber wellness student ambassadors, with a focus on key cyber wellness issues such as the importance of having a healthy online identity.

Highlights of the conference include breakout discussions facilitated by SST student leaders, and showcasing of commendable student-led efforts.

Student ambassadors would be able to bring back exciting cyber wellness advocacy ideas from the conference and continue the peer-to-peer approach by adopting the role of lead student ambassadors in their school.

Under the guidance of their Cyber Wellness Coordinators (CWCs), they would be able to enlist their peers and lead them in promoting cyber wellness in their schools. Schools with commendable student-led efforts are encouraged to participate in the Cyber Wellness STudent Ambassador Recognition (STAR) showcase in the CWSAP 2016 Conference.
