About Dietitian's Calculator

The Dietitian's Calculator automates many calculations including:
- Macronutrient exchanges
- Exchange recall giving a macronutrient breakdown of consumed food
- BMI and energy requirements, such as:
- Harris-Benedict
- Mifflin
- Energy per kilogram
- Ideal BMI upper and lower weight range
- Protein per kilogram

You can also choose to use kilograms or pounds, kilocalories or kilojoules, and meters or feet and inches.

The Dietitian's Calculator was developed with dietitians and uses standard exchange values from Krause's Food & the Nutrition Care Process textbook. This app is intended to be used by registered dietitians as part of a consultation and does not replace a consultation.
