eBuddy

eBuddy is a mobile application designed to help community caseworkers enter, track, assign, resolve, report and share complaints from distressed migrant workers, based on the user persona of a community case worker. eBuddy will guide caseworkers into the right channels to solve and report their problems. eBuddy is designed to address the needs of caseworkers to make their workflow easier and more efficient, facilitating networking and sharing resources with other groups while providing security to the data shared on the system. eBuddy will directly benefit caseworkers, helping them with their case and time management. It will also have an indirect impact on distressed migrant workers whose cases will be documented in a secure system, and followed up in a timely manner. The app will also be able to generate reports based on the data available if needed to inform their future strategies, push for policy change and research purposes. eBuddy acknowledges the need for privacy, trust and right process and system to deal with their day-to-day cases. It also recognizes the importance of having a friendly tool to manage cases, as well as the need for collaboration between different community caseworkers. eBuddy is a space that offers shared resources between different individuals and groups and thus help leveraging the limited resources often available to community caseworkers in a friendly and accessible way.
