With the eICS app, you can perform critical tasks using a proven subset of incident command tools to manage emergency situations and facilitate an effective response from wherever you are when a crisis arises.

According to your roles and permissions, you can:

• Create, update, and manage incidents
• Enter command center and other location details
• Assign ICS positions and track candidate availability
• Respond with availability, location and ETA
• View and add event log entries
• Update objectives
• Create, view, filter, and send messages to one or more recipients
• Assign priorities to messages, add messages to the event log, and attach photos
• Access Coordinated Response add-on features

Information entered in the app is immediately available in the eICS solution to keep everyone up-to-date and connected through the command or emergency operations center.

Added messaging, which includes the ability to view, filter, respond to, create, and send messages. When creating messages, you can select the sender, recipients, and priority, send a copy of the message to email addresses, add the message to the event log, and capture and attach photographs. If turned on through device settings, notifications about received messages appear even when you do not have the application open.

- Enhanced notification options. When you start or end an incident, you can now choose from several notification options. You can notify all by phone and email/text or notify all by email/text only. You can also choose particular individuals to notify and the methods by which to notify them.
- Updated ICS Chart filtering. You can now filter the ICS Chart by position only when the selected position has subordinate positions.
- Improved navigation to User Settings by making it more intuitive.

- Improved login screen features. The app now automatically remembers your username on this device, so the Remember Me option has been removed. In addition, the login screen allows you to quickly move to training mode.
- Enhanced incident icons to clearly indicate the type of incident, such as severe weather or bomb threat. In addition, the color of the icon indicates whether it is an actual incident or an exercise. The icon appears in the incident list and the incident summary page.
- Enhanced the ICS chart to provide more comprehensive features. You can now filter positions by unassigned, assigned, active, and inactive positions. The position's details screen displays the position within the chain of command, including the supervisory position and subordinates, as well as the labor pool.
- Added the ability to assign candidates to an incident's ICS positions, choosing from the position's depth chart, all candidates, and all contacts in the associated health system. You can also remove an assignment.
- Added the ability to add an objective, including specifying its priority, operational period, and status, as well as assign it to a position or specify it is an incident-level objective.
- Improved objective details by including the operational period, the date and time it was last updated, and its associated incident response guide.
- Enhanced the objectives screen so that, when you open the screen, it is automatically filtered to show the objectives for your position.
