About Fishing Organiser
Fishing Organiser is a fishing app. Not a social media platform, not a place to brag but a private fishing app to log all your fishing trips in all their details.
Features:
- Trips: detailed with precise GPS location, date/time, duration, fishing style, notes, photo, automated astronomical observations and historical weather data;
- Associated captures: single or multiple type, detailed by species, coordinates, length/count, weight, photo and more;
- Solunar: use these tables to get help finding the most favorable fish feeding periods by Sun and Moon positions and phases. No worries: unlimited lookahead and lookbehind;
- Weather: 48 hour hourly forecast and 7 day general forecast, based on your location and updated every hour;
- Encyclopedia: all the worlds fish species, groupped by country/zone and displayed in the language of yoor choice;
- Encyclopedia is an Open Project: add common names, propose new fish species and associate existing ones with countries/zones;
- Statistics and graphics;
- Fished locations map and list;
- Compass: have you forgotten the exact location of a previous fishing trip or capture ? Let the app show you the direction and distance with this simple and intuitive feature;

Excelent news ! Enrich every fishing trip memory by attaching relevant photos, from now on, as part of the base app features. Have no worries about device storage space; all photos are stored in cloud, no weight on your devices storage capacity. We'll only cache them for an optimal period. You're also in control of your mobile data usage: choose to display them on Wi-Fi only or mobile data also, your choice.

We took the most widely accepted solunar theory formula and we are offering its resulting predictions, in the app, for free, as part of the base package. It has no limitations, use it to find out the major fishing periods whenever.

Forgot the exact location of a previous fishing trip or the location of a previous catch ? Map markers do not tell you much ? Well, no worries, we've added a compas in the app, it can be activated by selecting a marker from the fishing trips or captures map. It will show you the direction and angle towards the selected marker. Test it, it is a nice feature. See the updated app images in the App Store. As usual, please give us feedback, tell us what you want added in this app, make it yours !

As fishing and weather go hand in hand, we've added the hourly forecast (for 48 hours ahead!) and the 7 day general forecast, on the home screen, part of the base app features, so, free of charge. It is based on your location and gets updated every hour.

We went fishing, took the app on the river shore, used it and we are now making it even better by tweaking/adding features like: quickly add/substract fishes belonging to multiple type captures (tap the row to view the option) directly from the edit captures list, auto-locking the fishing trip start position and the capture marker on the map at edit time and more. Also fixed a few minor bugs. Please send us feedback, thank you.
