About FML Official
FML has been around for almost 10 years now (give or take a few years), and we're not going to stop the party yet! Like punk, FML will never die. The idea behind our app is quite simple: every day, our team selects the daily mishaps and embarrassments that our brave users have sent in, to serve them to the rest of you on a plate. Your life isn't perfect either? Let's have a laugh about it!
FML is also a social network, the network of people proudly living crappy lives. Don't feel like you have to post fabulously flamboyant stuff here like on the other social networks: you won't be judged by us (well, not that much). No need for perfect photos of fantastic parties that seem a bit too staged and filtered, as well as status updates that seem slightly exaggerated. Thanks to our Timeline, you'll have your own space in which to express yourself (at last) freely, and show everyone how crappy your (real) life is… and show everyone that you're able to laugh it off! Problems with transportation, sports injuries, juicy stories… Perfection is being able to laugh about your own imperfections!

Apparently a lot of you don't have a strong enough connection to enjoy the new format, and for this we sincerely apologize.
So now, to avoid a major FML while reading our FMLs, we offer you the choice (in the menu) to display FMLs in images or as text. Now there's no reason to not give us 5 stars.

The FML team has taken into account the comments and suggestions you have sent in over the last few months, and has made sure that all of them were central to the development of our new app, which is ergonomically thought out so that you can personalize it to optimize your FML experience !
Hang in there, because some of the new features are like Christmas in August :
• We've made the FMLs easier to read by modernizing their presentation (no, we haven't been bought out by Instagram),
• Your profile now has a Timeline which will allow you to: 1/ know in real-time what the people you're following are getting up to on FML and 2/ share your crappy life, by posting not only FMLs but also your photos, links to articles you've read on the internet, YouTube clips of cats on skateboards, etc.
• Post on your Timeline anything that you're reading on another app,
• The rolldown menu is back at last (yes, you were quite persistant about that one!), as well as a way to filter the content so that you can only see what you want to see.
All that, plus a few crashes and display bugs have been fixed. And of course, all this is totally free.

Thanks to this update, you’ll finally be able to click on the little orange comment counter box to access the comments. In the iPad, screen rotation is at last available. The YouTube previews now look pretty damn good, as does the Sticker Pack that are available for all appliances using iOS 10+. Some further technical stuff has been upgraded to make the whole app smoother to use.

You were waiting for it, it’s here! The completely new, rebuilt from scratch version of FML gives you a whole bunch of new functions to be discovered immediately. From the profile presentations, a chat that makes you want to hug everyone, to the new, ergonomically designed menu that still smells of paint… everything is looks good, shiny and will make you feel like checking out every corner of the app. Submit your own FMLs with great ease (even though getting through moderation is still hard to crack) and become an integral part of the FML community as an active participant: Send your FML Photos and share pictures between youselves via the chat. Moderating the FMLs has been Tinderized, so swipe away the wheat from the chaff. FML now contains videos, pictures, animations and much much more. Welcome to a new era in FML technology.
