We had a hard time fixing rotation issues as a result of of iOS 6 changes and different behavior on iPad 1. The good news: it should have been solved now. The bad: we were forced to drop iOS 5 support. Sorry iPad 1 users: however, you can continue using v1.63.
From now on we can spent all our effort on fixes and new features. Which is good news again.

Your patience is rewarded! The update you're all be waiting for featuring audio (from camera to iDevice). Of course only available for the camera models that support it (like FI8908, FI8918)...
Audio comes as a free update and not as an in-app purchase. Sorry I've kept you waiting for so long, it was quite a mission to get it working besides all other projects I'm working on.
There is a known issue with audio enabled when, after trying to connect to a camera that is not reachable, the audio of the next camera selected will not play automatically. Workaround: switch audio off and on again.
Another known issue, not audio related, sometimes when rotating to fullscreen the screen is scrambled. Workaround: rotate back, go to mosaic view, rotate to landscape again, select the camera of your choice. I'm working on this problem.

In this update the following changed have been made:
*import* this update unfortunately introduces a problem on same devices where the brightness is not reported back correctly when changed via de slider. I'm working on it.
- Fixed sending mail snapshots (was caused by using a non-standard way, which GMail dropped support for it)
- Fixed passwords with strange characters (like hashes (#)) not accepted
- Improved swiping in fullscreen view
- Fixed screen garbled on iPad with rotation lock
- Improved rotate functionality (fullscreen to normal view, mosaic view portrait to landscape and vice versa)
- Added a warning message when using ports blocked by the internal browser
- Internal design changes to allow audio in the next update

This is a major update with some important bugfixes and one major new feature: presets. Here is the complete list:
New feature: preset camera positions
To use it, tap Controls, swipe the lower area of the screen from right to left and tap Presets
Please understand that not all cameras support this feature, the cameras that do (like the FI8908 and FI8918) must have the latest firmware installed. Also be sure presets are not disabled in the camera's webinterface (under PTZ settings)
Fixed potential problem where alarm schedule is enabled or disabled spontaneously
Fixed bug where infrared light switch and input/output controls where not shown for operators
Fixed problem where the camera movement was not stopped with less then optimal network conditions when quickly tapping an arrow
This update is the first of a series of new updates. I'll make sure this is _the_ app for Foscam cameras.

1) Does the activity indicator for the 5th and/or 6th camera keep animating?
2) Is the camera title displayed in a bright white color or in a darker gray color for the 5th and 6th camera.
Please report it back to me (using the support button in Configure-Settings) because it's valuable information for diagnosing the problem.

- Fixed green led issues with FI8918W
- Fixed problems switching back and forth between FI8918W and FI8908W cameras
- Removed splashscreen on request of users (you may have to remove and reinstall the app to remove the splashscreen)
- Fixed issue where app backgrounded instead exited
I'm still investigating the problem where in the mosaic view in some cases the last 1 or 2 cameras are not shown.
