About Geomax
Geomax is a strategic puzzle game that helps players build an understanding of core Geometric concepts. Its engaging play makes it the perfect tool for introducing the subject of Geometry, for use as a consolidation tool or as revision before exams.
It's also a great way for moms and dads to play an active part in their child's education. Long road trips will never be the same again!
Mathematics is a key requirement for entry to higher education and the knowledge intensive workplace of the 21st century. The world has a pressing need to increase the number of well-educated graduates in science, technology, engineering and maths. But in countries like South Africa, fewer and fewer students are taking Mathematics as a subject all the way to the end of high school.
One of the biggest reasons is the negative experiences that go along with learning mathematics. At critical junctures (such as Grade 9) students suffer from bad experiences, and decide mathematics is not for them. In some cases, teachers are glad to have fewer or no students in maths classes, because the subject can be so difficult to teach.
