About iGardener

With the Holman iGardener app you can use your smartphone to control all the programming and interface functions of a continually increasing range of Holman garden watering and light products via Bluetooth®. These products are designed for easy DIY installation.

You can control the following Holman products with the iGardener app:

• BTX1 Smart Valve Tap Timer
• BTX6 Irrigation Controller 6 Zones
• BTX8 Irrigation Controller 8 Zones

• Schedule up to 8 tap timers or controllers via the app
• Scheduling options for 7-day watering, interval days, odd days, even days, cycle scheduling, manual watering
• Set your run time in hours and minutes
• Up to 3 start times per day
• Watering duration from 1 minute to 59 minutes

This release includes:

• Minor bug fixes for the Irrigation component (now called BX Watering)
• Major changes to the Light 2018 component (now called Garden Lighting)

a) Fx will now show as a split fader. The LHS is the speed and the RHS is the colour
b) For RGB lights, it is now possible to choose two colours and this will also show as a split fader. The LHS is the colour mix, the RHS is the colour chosen. At the top of the fader it will show the start colour (on the left) and the end colour (on the right).

To avoid the colour mixing option ensure the start colour (on the left) is black.
If you have colour mixing and Fx then the Fx will have priority and the colour mixing will not be available again until the Fx are off

c) Scenes can now be named and have their own colours too
d) If you make a change to a Scene time and you are out of Bluetooth range then a red “clock with a slash” icon will appear under the fader until a Bluetooth connection has been established.

• Access to the Lighting 2017 component for those customers still using it but now every time they use this component they will be encouraged to download the stand alone app Light2017.

This version only updates the Light 2018 component. It fixes the bug where the timer won’t turn the lights off. It also includes the ability to perform a DFU (Device Firmware Update) on the light controller to fix controller issues.
