About Jupiter Explorer
The game is set in the atmosphere of the planet Jupiter. The mission is to explore the atmosphere and collect information with the probe’s sensors. However, the atmosphere is full of substances that can harm the probe. Specifically, red acid bubbles that cause damage when they collide with the probe. As the probe falls further into the planet, gravity increases and the bubbles move faster. While the probe falls through Jupiter’s atmosphere, the goal of the player is to pilot it, so scientists may collect their data. The player must avoid contact with the red bubbles and minimize damage to the probe. The mother ship periodically shoots power pods to the probe. The player must catch the pods to reduce the damage and keep the probe running. The player uses the smartphone’s inclinometer to control the movement of the probe. As the difficulty of the game increases, the probe must move and react faster.
