About Kenya Alerts
Kenya Alerts provides emergency communications for residents and visitors of Kenya. Once downloaded and activated by creating an account, residents and visitors alike will receive location-specific alerts during emergencies and natural disasters containing instructions and other life saving time-sensitive information. When receiving the information is critical, users will receive an audible alert on their phone, even when set to “silent” or “do not disturb.”
App users can also use Kenya Alerts to immediately connect to emergency assistance personnel in Kenya through the app’s SOS button over WiFi when cellular services are not available.
Residents and visitors of Kenya are strongly encouraged to download Kenya Alerts and create a user account in order to ensure they are kept as safe and as informed as possible.
