We have enhanced the Klipboard mobile app interface putting the important features for job management right at your fingertips, enabling you to do your job faster and more efficiently.

All the job and asset management features that you love and engage with every time you need to complete a job on our app are all still present but with a much improved user experience!

Not only has the interface been enhanced we have also bought some new features to the app too!

What Are The New Features & User Interface Updates?

• Faster access to create a Job directly on the App from the main dashboard (if permission for Team Member is granted).
• Faster access to view, edit or create a Client directly on the App from the main dashboard (if permission for Team Member is granted).
• New scrolling menu navigation within a job, giving faster access to job notes, forms, asset services, inventory, etc.
• Job notes can now be edited by the assigned Team Member on the app
• Client contact details on a job are now within a dedicated card view located on the bottom navigation within a job
• Client Notes can be created and viewed from within the new Client contact details card view (if permission for Team Member is granted).
• Team Members visibility on a job now in a dedicated section within a job (previously this detail was added to job notes)
• Support Team Members assigned on jobs have more functionality. They can now view previous jobs, document library for the job, assets at location / site along with the ability to create an asset.

New Map Dashboard & Menu Navigation:

We have introduced a map view allowing for an overview of all the jobs allocated to the Team Member in the field using the app. In addition we have changed the menu navigation allowing for faster switching between Scheduled Jobs, Unscheduled Jobs and Syncing.

Inventory Management: Products & Services Allocated To The Job:

- When a job has been assigned and synced to the mobile app, it will now display any Products or Services allocated to that job therefore ensuring the team member knows what is required / allocated for the job.

- A permission option on the Klipboard web dashboard can be enabled to hide or show any financial information displayed for the products or services allocated to the job. By default the permission is set to not show any financial information to the Team Member on the mobile app.

- Team Members using the mobile app can confirm if they have used what was allocated for the job or if less or more was used.

Add Additional Forms Within A Job On The Mobile App:

If a Team Member requires an additional form on the job, they will have the ability to add it to the job from within the app. Perfect for jobs that require something adhoc to be completed or for jobs that you are not aware how many assets are out on location prior to scheduling the job.

This update includes the following:

Customisable Asset Detail View & Mandatory Asset Fields:
You can configure in the Settings area of Klipboard what Asset Data Fields are visible or not visible along with a mandatory setting. It greatly improves the creation of Assets in the field using the app as it will only display the data fields you require for the creation of an Asset.

Assets Select List On Forms:
A new additional form component for the Mobile Form Builder, an Assets Select List. This new component can be added to any existing forms or new forms that you create on the Form Builder.

The Assets Select List when added to a form will display on the mobile app a list of the assets from the asset register associated with the client location for the job that the form is being completed for. The list will display the Asset Name and associated Serial Number for the asset.

Return Travel Timer:
The mobile app has been updated to include a Return Travel timer in addition to the existing En route Travel and Job Timer functionality.

The Return Travel Timer is accessed in the existing timer area for a job on the mobile app. To avail of the Return Travel Timer, you team member simply leaves the job open, taps on the timer and starts the return travel. Once they have reached their return destination they tap complete job which closes down the job and stops the timer.

JOB STATUS
The status of jobs are now checked when you are online ensuring you are kept informed of changes in real-time.

Multi-Workflow Forms On A Job
When the office schedules a job for a field team member, they will have the option to add a mandatory workflow form and up to four additional workflow forms on a single job. This improves efficiency for those working in the field as they now receive one job with everything contained in it.

For example this is perfect for jobs that require a separate Risk Assessment, Job Sheet and Certificate, or basically any combination of workflow forms you can think of.

Teams
With Klipboard's Teams feature, Jobs can be allocated from the office to multiple field team members who are using the Klipboard mobile app. You can assign a Job to the main field team member who will complete the associated workflow forms, any asset service records, etc, just the same as currently, but with the addition of Teams you will also be able to add Support Team Members to the Job when scheduling.

We will run some smart background algorithms and work out who is available to be selected as a Team Member for that Job, making your scheduling of multiple team members more efficient.

For those working in the field, it greatly improves communication with the office and instantly lets you know when and where you need to be as part of a team. Our new Teams feature is perfect for project work, installations or jobs that simply require multiple people to know where they have to be and what they have to do.

Faster Mobile Sync
We got down to the nuts and bolts of our mobile sync engine and went to work on making major performance improvements. Our optimisations has greatly reduced the time of the sync by at least 75% and up to 150% in most scenarios.

This latest update brings multiple workflow functionality. Now you can receive a single task assigned from the web dashboard containing multiple workflow forms to complete on the app. Perfect for project work or for tasks that require mandatory documentation to be completed prior to the work in the task commencing, such as risk assessments or certificates.
