- The Home Screen widget now refreshes on its own while the app is closed, instead of staying on a stale status until you reopen the app. This requires an API key (Uptime Kuma → Settings → API Keys), saved in the app under Settings → your server → API Key. iOS still decides exactly when background refreshes run, so updates are periodic rather than instant.
