**Heroics**
We're excited to announce some updates that will enhance your experience! As part of our latest changes, we're increasing the number of skulls you receive and adjusting the prices for various vault items. To start things off, the number of Heroic skulls you currently own will be doubled. These updates will take effect when you update to version 2.21.0. Get ready for an improved and more rewarding gameplay experience!
**Progress Rewards**
- In addition to the usual Heroic rewards you earn at the end of a Season, you'll now also receive additional rewards when you first defeat a boss during that Season. These rewards are granted at the end of the battle in which you defeat the boss.
- The rewards for each Tier have been updated.
- Each tier now accommodates a different number of players, as adjustments have been made.
- With these changes, you should feel better rewarded for making further progress in the Heroics, especially if you fall just short of a Heroics Tier. In many cases, the overall number of skulls you’ll receive for the season will be nearly doubled.**Vault Changes**
- The options and prices for the Vault have been revised.
- The Onyx Combo Card, previously costing 1,000 Skulls, is now priced at 2,000 Skulls.
- Additionally, the Onyx Combo Card pool now includes all available Onyx Combo Cards.
- The Rare Combo Cards, which was previously priced at 500 Skulls, is now 750 Skulls.
- Additionally, the Rare Combo Card pool now includes all available Rare Combo Cards.
- The Diamond Final Form (DFF) pools have been streamlined to include only the portal bosses, and the price has been increased from 250 to 750 Skulls.
- There is now a single Diamond Upgrade Boost option: 150 Skulls for 1 Diamond Boost.
**UX**
There have been updates to the UX that will provide more details on these changes.
- Specifically, when launching Heroics, you'll now see a display of your current progress and the rewards you can earn for the boss.
- The progress tab will show the rewards you can earn for upcoming bosses.
**General**
- We've fixed an issue where some players were being logged out of their accounts and had to start over. If you encountered this problem, please contact support with your Player ID and Player Name.
- We've resolved an issue where the audio continued to play after a battle.

We're updating the battle system! Get ready for an adventure because we've fine-tuned some aspects of combat. While most changes are behind the scenes, here are a few updates you might notice, and more to come in the upcoming weeks.:
- Crushing Blow / Pierce animations always trigger second instead of the Opponent always triggering second. This is only an animation change and has no effect on card stat modifications
- The Plunder / Pillage Animation is modified slightly. There is no change to the power functionality.
Additionally, these bugs have been fixed:
- Fused cards losing fused background during card play animations:
- Incorrect letter (C vs F) shown during card play

We've got some upcoming changes in this release that won't take effect immediately. Keep reading to find out what's in store for you!
Bug Fixes:
Heroics
- Players should now find that their first match after the tutorial completes correctly.
Feature Updates:
Note - The following feature updates will be rolled out after the new version is released to all players. Keep an eye out for these updates!
Arena Defensive Deck Scoring
In this Release, we've updated the new Arena Defensive Deck to include scoring for Defensive wins. This feature will go live after the next Arena season starts. Keep in mind that there's a daily cap on how many Stars each player can earn in this way.
The stars accumulated from your Defensive Deck will contribute to both your leaderboard standing and overall star count.
Please Note: The initial values for this feature are intentionally set low. We’ll keep a close eye on this and make any necessary adjustments along the way as needed.
The intent for this change is that players will receive extra points for participating in the Arena, particularly rewarding players who actively engage with their Defensive Deck. Winning matches in the Arena will always be the largest source of Arena Stars
Dust Costs
We've lowered the Dust costs to Upgrade Bronze Final Form and Combo Cards, Silver Final Form and Combo Cards, and Gold Final Form cards to make Fusion more accessible for new players. Earned Dust for recycling upgraded versions of these cards has also been adjusted.

General Updates
Arena Enhancements
- Wins on the Leaderboard should now be displayed properly
- Improved the accuracy of the Rank displayed on the Client after playing an Arena Match
We've fine-tuned the Rank accuracy displayed on the Client after every Arena Match, ensuring a more precise reflection of your standing in the game!
Previously, completing an Arena match would give you Stars and a Rank based on the closest player with more Stars. However, this method often led to misleading Final Ranks due to overlooking ties and compounding inaccuracies until a rank refresh (periodically or at the end of a week/season).
With this latest update, your Rank post-match is now determined by counting players ranked higher than you and adjusting your rank accordingly, accounting for ties and providing a more accurate representation.
Just a heads up: This enhanced calculation takes effect after each match played and after periodic rank refreshes. If you haven't been active for 30 minutes or longer, your displayed Rank might benefit from a refresh to ensure accuracy.
Keep dominating the Arena with confidence!
